And this is a real hidden gem, almost nobody knows this game, but it really is incredibly great, as long as you are not looking for plot or such, because that is barely existant, there is some amount of emotion, but that's about it.
No, what makes this game great is it's incredible puzzle and level design, and overall gameplay, which is incredible.
Just kind of sucks how it's ending is a cliffhanger, and there never was, and almost definately never will be a sequel.

Never really got my hands on a Sony console myself (besides a PSP), but since now I have someone living with me who DOES own a PS2 (and PS3 if it matters) I've played a few of the games.
So far, the best one I've liked (that I can play, I tried Armored Core, I suuuucked) was Genji: Dawn of the Samurai.
Seems to be quite the unheard of game but it's a nice hack & slash game.
The graphics are quite nice as well, and to fit with the style of ancient Japan, they left the vocals of the game untranslated, but subtitled.

Spidey 2 for PS2 was fucking brilliant. An atonishingly perfect improvement over the PC version.
Unfourtanetly, my disk for it is fucked. :(
Also, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, both games I'll never forget. I've finished both at least 3 times already. :v:

I never got to play any Wipeout released after 2097 and 64, actually. But I've seen some videos about them, they don't look as fast paced as 2097.
It's still a brilliant game. The sequels after 2097 just don't seem as interesting.
