I just noticed the massive lack of Ace Combat in this thread. I played those games all the time from when I was 10 and got Ace Combat 4 until my original 60GB PS3 crapped out a couple years ago and I had to buy a slim PS3 which isn't backwards compatible.
War oft he Monsters had the best grind ever for the points/coins.
Beating the final boss over and over net me tons of coins, and I loved using the Mantis for the fight.
But then I unlocked RAPTROS.

I made the misstake of playing Persona 4 first, which is a shame since I sort of got used to the improvements that P4 has. But even though, I really like Persona 3 FES a lot, it got solid gameplay just like Persona 4. Although, as I said. I still miss some things from Persona 4, but not to that level that I won't play Persona 3.
As my old PS2 doesn't work anymore, I just emulate the games now. I'm satisfied that it works pretty well, not that the persona series is a tough game to emulate, but it's fun that it works probably. Hooked up my old controller as well and the feel of playing PS2 games in 720p is pretty nice, even if the art/some textures doesn't live up to the resolution. It's a shame though, that my old Final Fantasy X disk is too scarred to be able to run it properly.
Zone of the Enders 2, looks really amazing when you play 4x the native resolution.

I missed out on all the Ace Combat games except for 4 so now I'm trying to get my emulator to run the damn games.
I'm gonna buy an AV to DVI (or something) converter just to go back play PS2, since my GPU is a huge piece of shit and PCSX2 is incompatible with the game I want to play.

I'm playing Metal Gear Solid 2, after that I'm gonna play Metal Gear Solid 3, and since I don't have a PS3 I'll watch a let's play of MGS4. I heard it's like a movie anyways. :v:
