After playing Co-op in Serious mode, I cannot imagine playing any other difficulty level in coop.

Yeah Normal was a bad idea. We tried it with damage modifiers at first but it was annoying not even being able to kill the weakest people in one shotgun shot, but this way we killed bosses in like 5 seconds so that was kind of lame.
