You can add me to the pre-order list. Can't wait for this.
How's the co-op in this?
How are we suppose to know?
OK! So this game has interested me.
What exactly are it's good points? Is it just a bunch of enemies in a large map, or am I missing something critical that differentiates this from a really big gmod map with an NPC battle?
Not trolling, just want to know if there is anything you do aside from running around a big environment killing things. The enemies really smart? Cool weapons? What.

It's serious sam dude
Take it from me, I'm a hardcore gamer and I can attest to the polygon count in this title that is full of visual splendor
OK, so it looks nice? Were the levels atmospheric and immersive?
never played a Serious Sam game before and all I know is the very little background story provided by wikipedia.
Also, the kamikazes look fun to blow up.

there's your problem

Well, is there a demo or something for one of the games out?
It's a damn remake - go look at some youtube playthroughs of Serious Sam the First Encounter, then look at the screenshots of Serious Sam HD. Videos will show you everything about gameplay, screenshots will show you the graphics to expect.
Personally, I grew up with Serious Sam games, and I think this remake is awesome.
I looked at the HD screens, and that's part of the reason why I was interested. Looks like a cool engine to make maps for. Assuming an editor is available. Was one available for the older games?
Map Editor, Model Editor, and Animation Editor were installed along with the game. (for Second Encounter, I think First Encounter didn't include the Animation Editor)
It provides tons of serious fun. I remember playing coop with 10 other people blowing hordes of enemies.
Damn i want this game, but i dont have money.

Basically it's a "shoot everything that isn't you" game that is done very well. You will have more "OH SHIT" moments in this game than any other game ever. Add in the coop and it is a HUGE blast.
Hopefully you're good at games that have a lot of stuff going on at once, Serious Sam is a VERY hectic game.

This, when I first saw the last Boss:
"Oh shit"
Then I see him regenerate health and I'm told he is immortal:
"Oh double shit"
Then I see a huge ass UFO close in from the horizon:
"Oh triple shit"
I made a useful chart for people wondering whether or not to buy it:

Pretty much exactly this.

Add a line for "can your graphics card handle this" with no leading to "buy a new one"
Wish I had the money for a new card
How are we suppose to know?
From what I gather it's pretty much the same as the first one just with flashier graphics, and I'd assume by the way everyone is worshipping it that someone had played the first one.
It's incredible.
