And from that video, the Virgin livery looks as sexy as ever. I'm definitely being Le de Grassi in the career mode.

Slicks in the wet.
I'm American and I'm pretty damn excited for this. I remember an F1 game on the N64 I used to play all the time. Might get the Driving Force GT after it too. 2 more days until release, on my birthday list.

American release is tomorrow.

Welp it's the 22nd my bad.

I love how the UK gets it last out of everyone :3:

That's just what I was thinking, the people who love it the most, get it last. :(
Civ V comes out tomorrow in the states.
As usual. :(
Considering buying this on PC (Steam more specifically), can you guys tell me whether it will run or not?
2.9gHz Celeron Processor
3gb RAM
nVidia GeForce FX 8400 512mb
Windows XP SP3 32bit (not sure if that matters at all)

It will run, not very well though. Maybe all low settings and a low resolution
Windows XP is supported, and 3 gigs of ram should be enough. However I'm not sure about the graphics card. The requirements lists a GeForce 7800 or above. Whether or not a cheaper card from the next series up would do or not, I'm not sure.
As for your CPU, if it's not dual core, then I recommend you don't get your hopes up on running it well.
Going back to the steering delay, found this video of someone on a G27 and it doesn't seem to delay at all.

Well I guess it's PS3 version then.
Also, do you guys know any cheap (>$100) monitors than have HDCP?
We need one so we can use the same monitor for the PlayStation and the PC on the monitor.

What size?
What size?
Anything over 18" at least.
That does look much better in terms of lag. I hope it's caused by a shortcoming on the Xbox as opposed to a superiority on the Playstation, just so those of us who bought it on PC don't have the same problem.

I'm not buying anything, save good exclusives, on the Xbox anymore.
And when I get a job, the first thing I'm doing is a complete PC overhaul.

Probably the best you will get for the money.

You definitely won't be able to do full res with your current setup though.
What's the difference between the G27 and Driving Force? Besides the outlandish price difference of course.

Full six speed transmission and clutch, and overall better build quality.
[editline]11:55PM[/editline]
And probably a lot more.

There's a row of LEDs across the wheel for a rev counter too.
The G25's cheaper though, has a clutch, six speed H-pattern transmission, sequential gear stick, and excellent build quality. You should deffinately take the G25 into account if you're looking at a G27.

G25's are discontinued though, which can throw people off, since pretty much they're just second hand now.
Probably get a decent one off ebay or something.

It doesn't seem to have HDCP compatibility, or am I just missing something?
If it does then it seems to be a good monitor and a pretty good price.

Yeah, we bought a used G25 for only 80 dollars, and it works great.
We are currently building a racing chair for it, which is why we want to monitor.

Pretty sure HDCP is just DRM which is covered by the output, like a graphics card.
Cool, but I looked on Amazon and ... outlandish prices!

Besides, I wasn't really looking at the G27. I just wanted to know the difference. Thanks.
Oh, and PlayStation 3 here. I believe there was once a wheel that was a replica of a Ferrari steering wheel. Anyone know what I'm talking about here?
Edit: Oh cool! - http://bit.ly/bKzxXt
I might get that one. Thanks.
Actually that's just the wheel stand, can't get the other link to work. :smith:
I know the one you mean, and I recall it being extremely cheap. Which may not be a good sign. I'll see if I can find it, and draw up an actual conclusion. :v:
Allow me to ninja you here, http://amzn.to/9aJOoz
I think I'll pass. :v:
Agreed. :v:

That's the stand, nothing else.
Just realized that now, thanks.
