That a regular IMG tag, I'm talking about IMG thumb, where its small and if you click on it, it shows it fullscale in another window/tab.
[QUOTE=rampageturke;24947613]Pretty sure HDCP is just DRM which is covered by the output, like a graphics card.[/QUOTE]
It is, but for some reason it's required for PS3s to display through the monitor.

img_thumb in brackets.

Built-in Speakers
2 x 1W
HDCP Support

You would think so, but I've found many HDMI monitors without HDCP support.
Also, thank you for your help. :)
Was just looking through the recommended specs for this before I preordered it.

GFWL is bad but not a major inconvenience, don't get why people join the bandwagon.
Not a major inconvenience my ass. Not once have I had a working multiplayer game based on GFWL.
The interface is irritating, and refuses to work without focus. And to make things worse, the back end is hideously slow too. There's more than a minute between clicking 'log in' and being logged in.

The interface is terrible, when played at certain resolutions you have to click somewhere else to even hit a button on it, when I installed GTA4 I had to go through countless updates for it. It really does just take the piss, i'm not bandwagoning.
I don't mind windows live so much but yeah, if you got a different resolution you have to click elsewhere on the screen so usually it's just easier to navigate with a keyboard.
Kind of silly but meh, I can live with it. Had it in fallout 3 and Dirt 2 and Red Faction, I can live with it.
Goddamnit, why is this game $60 on the consoles and $35 on steam. Stupid price regulations.

I never had any problems with it, I'm sorry if it's different for other people.
I'm just speaking from personal experience here.

That reminds me, I really hope that the menus aren't what Codemasters did with Dirt2 (and 1?) and Grid. The one in Grid was alright, but on Dirt 2 if you wanted to quickly get to the options menu from the caravan, you couldn't.
Quick question, is the engine the same as the Dirt/Grid engine?

Engine is an enhanced version of the eGo engine (v1.5), so expect the same kind of menu systems / "seamless loading" that DiRT 2 had. I actually quite liked the menus, they were fresh and different, and I always had something to look at during loading.

Because you're not paying for packaging/disk cost and the xbox/microsoft/sony/playstation logo.

Sure they were nice to look at but some of the fonts that they used in DiRT 2, like on the loading screens between races, made me feel like an old man that needed to fetch his reading glasses.
Last question: I'm too cheap for a wheel right now, so I'm thinking about changing my gamepad. I currently have a pretty old Saitek Rumblepad and I'm wondering if this is an amazing controller(I stole it from my dad, don't know much about it) or if it's a cheap piece of crap. Could I be getting better response times, better sensitivity and stuff if I bought a new one? (or even just got a wireless adapter for my 360 controller).

I use a 360 controller and it is good for what I have used it for so far, GTA 4 works well with it.
Really want to try this game out, love F1 so I hope it is good.

And not to mention mostly awesome music to listen to.

That's the way it usually is. Releasing games on Xbox or PS3 incurs licensing fees from Sony/Microsoft. It's one of their main sources of revenue.
It's been released on steam early, [url]http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1004468[/url]
According to wikipedia, first release should of been tomorrow for America
I've played it!
Copypasta from my post on another forum:
[QUOTE]Alright. At first I should say that I was very sceptical about this game from the very beginning. So I wouldn't be too disappointed if it was really bad plus I didn't like previous Codemasters racing games for their arcadeness. But I really hoped that I could finally play a great F1 game since 2004.
My first laps in F1 2010 were in Ferrari at Melbourne. The car felt heavier and more grippy compared to rFactor's and the graphics were great. I run it easily with max settings (my config is Q6600 @ 3.0 gHz, 4 Gb RAM and ATI 4670 512 Mb), though with low resolution because my monitor is very old. I drove 3 laps, got 1:33.1 lap time and switched to the race in Bahrain under heavy rain. This was very difficult not only because of slippery surface but also extremely poor visibility. So I initiated some crashes and yes, there were not what I would like to see. The best part was me driving without the middle section of my front wing but with the left part of it, which was not connected to my car.
I'm playing with Saitek P2600 gamepad and even though the game didn't let me setup the saturation/dead zones, the steering was much smoother than in rFactor and all the videos of F1 2010 played with the pad that I've seen.
Then I decided to start my career and started 7 year journey with Virgin. Difficulty setting: automatic transmission and medium traction control assist, everything else off and bots were set to the expert. During the first practice session I somewhat learned the track and could qualify on the 18th place (there was no second part of quali, why?). After the start I managed to move up to 13th place in the first turn and by the end of the first lap I also overtook Schumacher and Sutil, so I was 11th, though pretty far from the top 10. On the third lap my race engineer told me to pit and so I did, but they held me up in the pits until everyone passed me (that darn bug). But they somehow put the soft tyres again so I had to pit again 2 laps later, so my race was completely ruined by my pit crew
I didn't expect to have the ability to compete with expert bots, especially on Virgin, because I'm not a good racer at all. Playing rFactor I rarely finish in top 10 in multiplayer races. But bots in F1 2010 are very easy to outbrake and that compensates a huge lack of speed in the straights.
I won't make a conclusion, because I've only played it for 1.5 hours, but this game seems to be pretty good so far. Especially considering the fact that there were no decent F1 games for a lot of years.
Sorry for grammar and s*it, it's very late[/QUOTE]
:v:
Sounds hopeful, what do you mean when you say the crashes were not what you you would like to see?
I think if you qualify less than 16th in the first qualifying session, you don't go through to the second qualifying session. Might not be 16th though.
I thought it was top 17 and then top 10...
Looks pretty sick.

Hope EU gets it a day earlier also then!
Also say if you were to aquire this game before official release but having paid for and pre-loaded the files also ..is that illegal or what?
I mean you already own the content right?
I don't think you, the customer, could be held responsible for them opening the doors a day early.
I'll probably get it. Its seems fun, and it should have TrackIR support
Buying it tomorrow for PS3, can't fucking wait.
(Would have had it today, but it wasn't released like they said.)
