Personally I think BF3 wins all over. It's a huge let down that it won't be released on Steam. EA will lose a whole bunch of sales now. I'd say 70%.
The two are incomparable.
Right, how could you ever compare a modern war scene based quick paced multi/single player game with destruction elements to a modern war scene based quick paced multi/single player game with destruction elements?
buying BF3 on pc, and mw3 on ps3.
I'll just go with Red Orchestra 2.

Yeah, but they are comparable. Gmod and Chess Titans, those aren't comparable, but CoD and BF are.
Or be like me and buy BF3, MW3 and RO2. I don't get why you have to be a fan of one game and one game only. There is nothing wrong with that. But i'd rather like a genre. And enjoy every title in that genre. [editline]12th August 2011[/editline]
Yeah, but they are comparable. I'm not much into modern shooters but I played around 30 hours of MW2 on PC and maybe 30 on the Xbox, while I only played 9 hours of BC2 and I loved it infinitely more than I did with MW2. The single player is actually interesting and long and the mutliplayer actually promotes team work instead of everyone just death-matching in any game mode like in MW2. Just because MW2 is a little more "fast paced" doesn't mean you can't compare them. BF3 V.S. MW3 is the biggest comparison war of this year.
The amount of strong fanboyism on each side is horrifying but people who prefer one over the other get labeled as a fanboy and any discussion turns into a shitstorm. Since it's on FP where the majority like Battlefield it's obvious how it will end.

If 70% of the Steam community that were going to buy it don't because they have to use a different program just to install the game then 70% of the Steam community is retarded fanboys.
