I think the ocean needs a bit more depth to it, because really there is nothing to do extensively with it.

There is a lot of ocean in minecraft, so you should be able to encounter/poke fun with it.

You have a few baby pigs which you feed with wheat and when they grow up, you get more baby pigs and kill the old ones, giving you a shitload of meat per pig.

You never know. He could remove it. In the past Notch has frowned upon stackable food. When Jens added it around 1.3 Notch told him to remove it.
