Is it good?
If you wanna play sniper elite with zombies thrown in, yes it's very good.
Otherwise that's pretty much it. Definitely worth the money it costs in my opinion.

I'm gonna sell TF2 hats for it then!
Anybody wanna play?
Does this have matchmaking or is it only with friends?
Also is there a survival or something that isn't story?
it's really fun
I solo'd the entire game on sniper elite difficulty, the last boss battle was hard as fuck. The best part of the game is when you get that feeling after shooting a sniper while he is in midair.
Is it just me or are the levels insanely long? Took me an hour to do the first mission. I was on sniper elite difficulty, but didn't die that often(until the last fight, but I was already 45 minutes in by then).
So how many levels are there? Are they all that long? And really no survival mode?
Going to buy and download this when I get home.
I want this game's soundtrack so bad. It reminds me a lot of Escape from New York and John Carpenter in general.
What's the [sp]morse code saying in the factory level? It plays over the radio, and it's definitely morse code. I think two of the radios played different bits, but I can't be sure[/sp]
How does one kill the mg42 zombie?
with extreme prejudice.

i think each level gets longer than the next one.
also, there are a shit ton more zombies in the waves as each one progresses.
edit: i need peeps to co-op with, who's down?
Just got this, and finished downloading.
Gonna be up for some of dat CooP.
Edit:
Add me on Steam and I'll play.
One advice:
Always pick up the Webley revolver...
It's 1 shot against zombies and skellies, even detonators, with huge dmg against that giant hoovy zombi.
The reload sequence is rather long, though: 4-5 sec.

The Welby is completely awesome. I bet it will get nerfed in a patch some time soon.
Goddammit the docks are insane.
The only thing i miss is that they are not taunting, you know...funny reactions in the game istself. Like in COD World at war, back when zombie mode was fun. It does reminds me from cod world at war though but no japanese WW2 character in sniper elite since there is a japanese Type 99 rifle? Oh i'm not standing still for that but it just falls on.
WW2 war was fought against Nazi and later on against Japan, right?
So squad roaster has only allied members (English, Russians), and the opponents are Nazi troups and Japanese squads, zombified ofc.
Fret not, you still have suicider (banzai kamikaze) zombies, even if they are dressed up as Nazi. They're awesome...
Sniper Elite is set in Berlin. Which is why there are no Japanese (or British and Commonwealth) troops.
Also about the skeletons - p. sure they are an Army of Darkness reference.
Add me on steam for co-op. This game is fun.

What i actually mean is that they could make one as a playable character. I don't mean about army of japanese zombies, only for the controlable player. You already can choose a russian, german, american.

It's in Berlin, remember?
The only reason there's an American there is because of plot-sneakiness so you're not a Russian.
Really loved this, well worth the money! Haven't played Sniper Elite v2, but really interested apart from the £30 price-tag.
Guess I'll wait for a steam sale.
Are the Heavy zombies affected at all by mines, tripmines and grenades? Or are they only affected by faceshots?
Are the Heavy zombies affected at all by mines, tripmines and grenades? Or are they only affected by faceshots?
landmines are glorious when it comes to fighting the elites, i managed to kill one with preacher headshots and two landmines in the village of the damned in the wave at the church on solo.
i hated doing that part solo, i had to play hide and seek with the fucker so i could get more ammo and head up the stairs.

ugh, god no. those four characters were annoying, the german & nikolai being the only ones i could stand, didn't really care that they returned in black ops zombies.

What do you mean you're not a "russian?" there is one russian you can choose with the 4 characters in the game. Or are you pointing out it's american? Doesn't even look like it.
And if its sets in Berlin, then why does the Type 99 is putted into the game?
because, as Karl Fairburn, the "bestest most elitist of all american elite best snipers", they make sure that you are provided every possible rifle you may wish in order to attain your goal of shooting the "bestest most evilest elite of all german elite best evil men"

Well in the actual game you just find the other rifles and you only start with the Springfield.
this game is super tense on sniper elite difficulty
This is actually pretty hard, I was thinking it'd be a cakewalk to snipe slow movers, but there's just so many of them. :v:
