Use cover/traps as best as you can from the entrance point you walk in, that way you can run down into the alleyway near spawn if snipers are pounding you hard, it breaks their line of sights and they just start walking around until you enter the area again. Have one buddy run up close to him and spray all the skulls with an assault rifle, then just give him the ol' icecream headache sniper. Rinse and repeat!

Weird i have the same only 4gb of shit ram and an i7, run on ultra lagged a bit scoped in so now i am running shadows on medium and AA on 8 now i get 60fps+

trying really hard to enjoy this game but the shit performance (averaging 35-40 fps on ultra with dips down to fucking 25 on a 570 and 2500k) and forced mouse acceleration are making it extremely difficult

It doesn't have any extra MP modes like the original SEv2 had but the main campaign has five chapters which are quite lengthy and mixes in some last stand style missions similar to some of the game modes in the original game. Plus it has all the DLC weapons from SEv2 included as well.

Anyone know where I can get the Soundtrack? Or get into the StreamingSounds.asr? I played it and absolutely love the 1980's Zombie music. Tried all sorts of tools to get into the asr, but nothing works unfortunately.

P.S I don't know why people are saying the performance is shit I play on ultra just fine:

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 470 (Updated Drivers)
12GB RAM
Intel Core i7 CPU 2.67GHz
Windows 7 - 64Bit

And my specs are way above average, but it'll give you an idea.

I use Dragon UnPACKer to open the .asr files. I'm uploading the soundtrack to youtube, so you can spare yourself the trouble.

I've tried dragon unpacker it still doesn't allow me to open the streaming asr, I'd much rather do it myself care to explain how you opened such a dumb file? Do you need a special plug in?

Sorry for the double post here. Open Dragon UnPACKer, -> File -> Open -> StreamingSounds.asr -> Open.

Then click Search, and let it run. When it's done, select them all and extract them to a designated folder for playback. It'll take a while to separate the songs from the ambience and sound effects, but the music is good.

Oh, forgot to mention, you often have to combine several songs together to make one. The songs that play in game are multiple songs at the same time, so in order to re-produce that effect you should use Audacity.

You could, you know, NOT run it on ultra then?

If you turn off advanced shadows, compute shaders and ambient occlusion, the game basically looks the same but with much better performance

You can also disable mouse acceleration in the options
