As I said before, I'm sure the skeletons are an Army of Darkness/Evil Dead in general reference
just like the achievement names
...my boomstick! is an army of darkness reference
my favorite one is "you've got red on you" which is from shaun of the dead
this games reminded me how much I hate the "BUT EVERYTHING IS FUN WITH FRIENDS" argument
Fuck you, who cares if everything is fun with friends. When did gaming become about anything other than enjoyment and entertainment

Exactly, I find it fun with friends. Not many games let me play cooperatively with friends. Hence enjoyment and entertainment, because I get to play with my friends.
The game is preety fun and the soundtrack is amazing :v:
i just shot straight down the barrel of someone's gun into their heart.
I'm now almost finished, and this bit on the last level with the skull keys is really rather same-y and not really that great of a start to the final level.
Is that really it? i just completet it and is there going to be more levels in like a dlc or something? becuse there is alot of unanwsered questions
Seems there's more to it, but who knows I found it got boring after awhile, because its the same routine over and over in Nazi Zombie Army. No real strategy, but good for friends.

God forbid a CO-OP CENTERED GAME is fun with friends and not as fun alone.

Pricing mistake I'm sure, but I grabbed a copy for $3.75, so I'll be pleased either way I guess.

"I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS, WHY SHOULD YOU? STOP HAVING FRIENDS!"
I don't mind single player, the lack of x ray makes it less fun for me in MP, or just cause my friend don't have a mic..

are you both completely incompetent at reading
I was bashing that argument and defending the fact that it doesn't matter if it's only fun "Because friends" because that's still a legitimate reason to think a game is good

Your sentence structure is awful then.
Not to mention you brought up that entire post out of thin air.
Strategy is what makes a good game good. It's doubled if it has coop, but coop, it's not really needed. As I've mentioned this game kind of lacks, because your doing the same thing every mission fight a wave move onto the next, kind of gets boring after a while. Though the atmosphere made it fun.

800mb update :o
And no patch notes.
Hopefully it's optimizations and fixes the hanging on exit.
not that it matters for me anyway, but for those who have trouble with this game (i really don't understand how), hopefully you can play the game now!

Clearly insulting the argument, no idea how you could see it any other way.

"Who cares if everything is fun with friends" Should have tipped you off.
But you're right, it did come from nowhere. I think I should the "Eating and swimming" stance and always wait 30 minutes after watching a Totalhalibut video before posting.
Also, what was the update about, I couldn't even find patch notes on the official site.
Still no patch notes.. it annoys me when I don't know what its changed/fixed
According to their Facebook the 800mb Patch was a mistake

I see, so was it 800mb of waste?
i don't want to make a new thread to ask this question so i'll post it here.
also this is about the original, not the zombie expansion.
are the two sniper rifles in the assassinate hitler mission good? cause i have all the other DLC and i'd like new weapons for my challenge maps. only problem is it costs 10 fucking dollars.

Wait for the dlc to go on sale. At it's current price, it isn't worth it, but I fully believe at a discounted price it is.
Also, Nazi Zombie Army can be incredibly relentless at times both in singleplayer and coop.
Not that that is a bad thing though.
I own a 10 year old proprietary-assed dell xps so i play on the ps3...
This is just my opinion, but I would say pass.
$10 for the Hitler dlc and two guns is just not worth it.
yeah i'm gonna wait till they realize it should have been either free or cost as much as the other fucking DLC...
I'm probably going to play the two maps once each because they both seem like linear story missions and not wave defense or anything fun like that.
although from what i've read st pierre seems to be a sandboxy mission like the challenge maps played in kill tally. is this true or is it just a dumb mission?
also what's this i hear about 50 wave kill tally rounds? i only have access to 10 wave rounds..
and does anyone have a page with weapon stats (including secondary weapons)? or does muzzle velocity not affect the actual speed of the round? if so what sniper has the highest magnification of zoom out of all the sniper rifles? also does damage vary from sniper to sniper?
[editline]31st March 2013[/editline]
the weapons i have avalible to me are:
snipers:
springfield
gewer
mosin nagant
lee einfield
m1 carbine
m1d
type 99
secondary weapons:
mp 40
ppsh-41
thompson
blyskawica
mp44
pistols:
welrod
luger
colt
webley
TT-33
i've googled quite a bit but there's no page on sniper elite v2's weapons and comparing them to each other, possibly with stats as well and other notes about noteworthy things about the weapon like if it's single action, double action, semi automatic, bolt action or automatic.
bumping this old thread for a new update:
sniper elite nazi zombie army 2 is now on steam for pre-order.
So NZA 2 came out. It probably doesn't really need a new thread, but I'm gonna dump some info anyway.
We've only gotten three or four missions in if that so far, but basically the first mission has you having left Berlin, and then sends you right back in because that damned Hitler's nazi zombie army still hasn't gone and died yet. So once more, our four friends (Karl Fairburn the BESTEST MOST ELITIST AMERICAN SNIPER, Boris Medvedev the Russian, Dr. Schwaiger the German Scientist and Herman (the German) Wolff) are going to go kick some zombie arse.
They've got some slight facelifts in the form of being covered in blood and bandaged, with the good Dr. deciding he'd actually put some gear on, but that's not important. Actually, so have the zombies: a lot now seem to be much more heavily decomposed, which is cool.
From what we've seen so far, there's no new weapons. The Preacher, however, has changed - it's no longer a rifle, but a doube barrelled shotgun. It still packs a punch, too.
As for the zombies, the standard fare are still about: the horde masses, shambling towards you while muttering in demonic german, the Kamikaze grenadiers blowing themselves up, the Skeletons creeping their way to beat the shit out of you, and the Elite Machinegunners walking around soaking up bullets and shooting them back, and the snipers, who still jump around and cackle very annoyingly whenever they actually manage to hit you.
But there's more! The nazis have seen fit to make even more dastardly zombies to rip you apart!
The first two work in conjunction with each other: the Ignited Zombies and the Fire Demon. The ignited zombies are nothing special alone - they're just poor zombies who somehow ended up getting barbecued by one of the many fires in Berlin. The Fire Demon, meanwhile, is a hulking, continuously glowing monster with a constant evil grin. It grins like that because it knows how much you'll hate it. It also wears a Stahlhelm, Jackboots, and webbing, which apparently don't care that the rest of him is literally ON FIRE.
Basically, the Fire Demon is the Elite without the MG42. It slowly walks towards you, lighting up like a christmas tree as it goes. If it gets close enough, however, or if you knock him down and don't kill him, he'll release a pulse of... fire. This doesn't hurt you too much, but any ignited zombies in the vicinity are lit on fire and suddenly speed up, determined to beat the shit out of you before they stop being on fire.
Next up is the Summoner. It's fairly obvious what he does. He's a German officer with bandages on his head, and his forte is standing somewhere you can see him while he grips his head in considerable pain and glows orange. And spawns zombies. And skeletons. He keeps doing this until you blow his head off.
The last new zombie type we've seen so far isn't actually new. It's the Skeleton! Except, this skeleton wears some stuff which makes it a little harder to hit it's gravity-defying internal organs. Crafty bastards.
These new zombies are actually very interesting to fight, and combined with the older types can make for some very interesting situations. All in all, NZA 2 is exactly what you'd expect: the same fun Coop as NZA, with more zombies and a new story.

Oh, and the music is still great. Love it.
