I am pretty sure they will give you some stickers and some shirts but not a heavy.
They like to spoil media people so they talk nice about them. Not just valve though, every developer does that.

Maybe when I'm going to Western Washington University, in Bellingham. Looking at Google Maps, compared to getting there from where I currently live, Bellingham is a lot easier - it's just a straight shot down the interstate. And most importantly, I don't have to go through Seattle.

I have been to valve around 3-4 times now, Play tested games, gotten tours. I also visited them while they were in their old building a few blocks away from where they are now. The company has grown so much over the years.
What sucks is, after years playtesting for them and what not, I have never walked out with any of that stuff...
