Wait, in the entitie list someone posted earlier there is a Colonist NPC. Did anybody try placing it in a map? What does it do?

This has probably been asked a few times before, but how do you make the endless fog you see in some levels.
I tried copying it from the first level in Alien Swarm but that only gave a brown-ish color to the map.
Do we have our steam group for this game yet? It'd be nice to have on to coordinate some games, it's hard to find a good public game.
The Tesla was fine as it was. On insane and such you couldn't use it as an attack weapon as its damage was dealt too slow. I used it mostly to stun enemies whilst someone with a mini gun or whatever finished them off. Its damage was already slow (I play as a medic so I mostly use heal gun but sometimes you have to defend yourself.) Most of my team (I always play with the same 3 friends) only had Teslas as a secondary weapon for defence and so in close combat situations they didn't friendly fire all over the place, which would then waste ammo from my healing gun, meaning we'd die faster.
Oh well, guess I can't complain. I just thought it was fine as it was. I only had one level of insane left to do though so wish me and my friends finished it yesterday before this nerf.
So... how do I go about adding in rails and stuff into Hammer? That's really the only thing that's bugging me right now and I just can't figure it out.

Hey, I decided to work on a map. Like my first one ever after running several tests.
I'm going for a kind of scary setting. It's a very early WIP, I haven't even textured the walls with a real texture, I'm using a floor texture.

I would use TileGen but I don't really find it suitable for a REALLY good map. It's good for a base, and even then it's actually kind of... well not limited but just kind of not versatile in a sense. It does produce nice maps however, if you get really creative.

Has anyone seen the rare bug which appears on the first and second level which is impossible to kill? Is this a glitch, or is it not meant to die?
To all the people saying that pre-nerf Tesla sucked on insane or hard (:v:), I had a four-man LAN going on, and we got to the second-to-last level on Insane mode, using nothing but Tesla and sentries.
While I lament the nerf of the Tesla, and how it's about as fucking useful as Combat Flares now, I will admit it was a bit overpowered. A [b]bit[/b].
Didn't deserve such a huge-ass nerf, though, in my opinion.
