I got knocked over the fence and stuck in a hole. We had to restart the mission. Then after that it happened again, but with a other teammate, at another hole. Godamnit.

No matter what you're fighting, chainsaw. If it's tough, shock, then chainsaw. Takes no more than 2 seconds to kill anything.

That's what I was expecting my friend to be like when I told him to get Alien Swarm but he didn't do that for once.

Are sentry guns just completely useless? I find sitting down somewhere in this game is completely useless. I really want a good tactic for using sentries, I just have this naggling feeling that there is a good way to use them without getting fucked all the time.

The elevator(of course), the elevator(syntek residential this time), the last door in the reactor level, and willy nilly when I'm feeling silly :v:

Also, my map for a campaign I'm making appears to be a crasher now. I can't even load it (get stuck loading about halfway), and I gave it to a friend who instantly crashed when he loaded it with an engine chunk overflow. Here's the BSP and VMF, and a complimentary video showing off a slightly older build (just a few minor changes between it and the current version). Video has no sound because I forgot to turn off "Mute sound" on Fraps. So I think I found out how to replace unlock items with different ones now. I want to see if I can raise the level cap to 30 so I can add blink and jump jets without getting rid of something else? Also found the different character files. profiles.res and equipment.res

Updates to Alien Swarm have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include: Alien Swarm - Fixed performance issues on SynTek Residential - Added Dedicated Server Browser to the main menu - Cheat protected marine skill values.

How to replace the actual marines with custom ones ? I have some custom marines compiled and working in HLMV but I don't know how to get them in-game. Already tried creating it as an addon but didn't work (probably because the addon isn't correct)..

Mind telling me how to compile the models? I've tried but the alien swarm model view gives me a error when I try and open them.
