Damn, am I the only one getting "We're sorry. Our Systems indicate you are outside the territory authorized for distribution by the software publisher of this title." when trying to download? Yes I have tried other websites but the downloadpage is always the same.

Hm, anyone else get the bug where most buttons don't have text on them but are weird grayscale boxes?

You need to install a patch/fix for it.

I found the patch but when I try to run it it says "This program cannot be run in DOS mode."

it has one problem. there is an insta win solution. iron spikes +spinning disks +lots of battery space and steel chasis=win except against emergency.

Oh god, I remember this game, it was like the predecessor to Gmod, being able to place weapons, wheels and stuff everywhere you want on your bot, even making your own weapons. It was so much fun, and I still have it on my PC right now! :holy:

I remember this. Playing online was awesome, fighting against each other and forcing each other into the map hazards. Good times.

Game doesn't even look that bad if you force it to run 16x AA. Too bad i can't get it running on 1080x1650, so i have to run it in a window. Also, it's frikken hard to make a good functioning robot with those realistic physics and stuff. Easiest way to win is to flip them, or make a lobster sort of shape and add circular saws where the claws are, they just get stuck in between them and implode

I never played 2 nor did I know that either of them were moddable :o Time to go buy.

I made a nigh-unkillable bot. Two pneumatic spikes to stab the hell out of everyone, with a battleaxe in there just for the fun of it. Sucks how I don't have the save after reformatting. :argh: Can't wait to see this in Let's Play.

I remember finding my copy of the first game at some book fair. Didn't know it was mod-able, that would have made it a bit less tedious than "throw parts together, hope it doesn't suck"

Damn, immagine if they made a Robot Arena 3 with DMM, that would be awesome. And not too hardware requiring either, since only the bots would be DMM.
