I never played this, but I've played Robot Wars: Arena of Destruction. Boy that game was fun.

Is it possible to host a public server that other players can connect to without me playing? I have my home server doing basic things like web serving and downloading large files, I may be able to install RA2 on there for FP.

ALRIGHTY! I will just use my netbook for hosting as there is no way to host games and let other players to start the game. Connect to Hamachi network "FP Robot Arena 2" password "2003". Once you're in the multiplayer section, you should be able to press the IP Address button and enter 5.138.87.98 into the field.

You have to install the patch for the game to work with my version, This patch also fixed the issue with the game on my new video card.

I installed some mod two days ago and holy shit it's nigh impossible. All the bots are sadistic death machines with uber amounts of plating and shit. I think it's DSL. I'm gonna try the star one.

I keep having no buttons on my UI whenever I play, I had it on vanilla 1.3 before I fixed it somehow, how would I do that again?

I had the most epic match ever with the DSL mod: Return of Walrus (It wiped out all my bots, so I used the 2nd edition Walrus) vs. Shogun on the Electrical Floor arena. He comes and swings his samurai swords at me full speed, I give him a whack to the front with my spikes.

Once I got all four of his swords down after ~5 mins of fighting, it looked like a slaughterfest, even taunting him by ripping off every armor piece and wheel and pushing him into the electrical chamber for a shocking loss.

Yeah, I've made at least twenty bots with the DSL mod and NOTHING kills any of the default DSL bots, it's fucking insane

I remember building bots being a lot easier, the stupid chassis thing always messes up. You can bend one side inward but the other side just won't. No matter what.
