Also, is there any progress on the LSD mapping project? If so, I would love to help. This game has fascinated me from the moment I laid eyes on it.

Now, seriously, the Gmod LSD project sounds sweet. Just reading the posts scared the shit out of me. I'm currently downloading (and stuck) at 90%. Guess I'll have to start the download again.

Also, if the game is as scary as it sounds, a remake with source graphics would be awesome! And scary!

I went to that door, and I was in the weird village, I turn around, go across a bridge, and see a HUGE fist off in the distance, and I find tons of empty houses, whic hsome drums playing near them, big drums. There is a castle which I walk into and 'touch'
I end up in the mini land, I touch something and find myself in the weird toy like world where I ran into a wall :v:. I ended up in the hotel...I walk up some stairs and turn left into the rooms, I look in the first room and find a tv with blood all over it and drawings of what looked like ghosts, I can't tell, it ended right then :tinfoil:
So I end up in Toyland again, I walk into some castle and touch a chair, back to the hotel, hmm, I am in the same spot, I turn to where the TV was...
Holy fucking shit
There is the TV, and a teddy bear in front of it facing me with some loud sound
...
I walk away and look in the other rooms
2nd room, nothing
3rd...teddy bear
4th...creepy bed that breathes
go back to the TV and go to take a pic when
BAM the fucking teddy bear runs at me!
Making me touch it :v:
Back to toyland
I touch something
I end up in a city, dead guy under a street light...
I walk, only to find it was dead PEOPLE near a street light, I touch and teleport.

Glad someone bumped this. I've started a few maps, but couldn't finish them because of exams and other school shit. Hopefully I will continue it a little during this summer. :)
Also, I'm wondering if this should be made directly into a Source mod or not. There is some stuff here that can't be done with Lua or simple mapping, such as the music, which is made of lots of different sounds with different volume and pitch. This is how the patterns are randomized each time you have a new dream, and how the music changes randomly.

Is there anything I can do mapping-wise to help? I would do anything to make this project come to life.

Holy crap, seriously? Are scripts included? Man, If we could crack open the models and scripts, the entire game would be revealed to us.

This game that we have found, The point is to not know. That's the beauty of it, the game is supposed to be shrouded in mystery. Would'nt it kind of ruin the experience if you know everything about a game that you arent supposed to know anything about?

But is this serious? Will it really be done some day? God, I want to do such a Source Mod so badly, I have so many ideas, but I really don't know if I have the skills to do it.

We should really create a team with coders, modelers, mappers and all that stuff. :v: Only imagining some dream worlds with the Source lighting is already orgasmic. I don't know if we should keep the japanese theme, or do something different while keeping the same ideas. I was thinking about the same dreams, but set into something more City 17 and Combine related.

And eventually add our own dreams to it. An extremely weird dream set in gm_construct, or the hotel where you usually start, but upside down would be totally awesome.
