only thing i don't like about the revolver is the handle looks goofy. even if it's correct they could have made the grips a lot less wide.
Now that you can spin the cylinder, i want to be able to point the revolver at my head too, for some twisted reason.
anyways the person who releases a mod that grants me the ability to run this game with a decent FPS will have my forever undying love.

i was thinking the same thing.
you can do a similar thing with enemies, like you've totally wounded some killbot so the next shot takes them out. take cover, empty the revolver, put one bullet in, spin and close.
still russian roulette in a way i guess. except backwards cause you die if the bullet isn't there.
I feel like a badass with my revolver so much.
can you fan it? like is fanning the hammer for more rapid fire properly implemented?

I find myself doing this a lot when I have the revolver. If I disable a turret's camera or gun, I will play russian roulette with it to decide its fate.
You can play russian roulette with yourself, actually, by running and shooting.

It's double action, so not really.

it works like a real shotgun too.
I.E. you can load at any time, but that loads straight into the tube - you have to hold the pump back to put a shell straight into the chamber.
And oh yes, it ejects.

I was hoping that when you pull the revolver trigger without the hammer cocked you needed to hold the mouse button down for a few more milliseconds. Add to the illusion of squeezing it, and if you let go prematurely it doesn't fire.

I lasted for like an hour with my revolver and almost cleared the whole level.
Then I swear to god, I walked into a room I thought I cleared and like 10 flyers came in and raped me with sparks, I wish I recorded.

and holy shit, centering the gun makes the game so much easier when you're lagging.

Mousewheel spins the cylinder.
You turn it off and on by placing it in and out of inventory.
for anyone who didn't know there are cheats, and they're awesome. slow motion baby!
slomo : Slow motion. Toggle on/off with tab after entering.
idkfa : gives lots of bullets
iddqd : God mode
late i know but i just started using them, they're great.
you just type them out? or enterthem in some spot?
Just picked this up. Ton of fun. Almost feels like survival horror when you have 2 bullets left and hear that beeping in the next room.
am I the only one who finds the fall heights a bit silly? I mean, I wouldn't [I]like[/I] to jump down a flight of stairs, but I'm fairly certain I could do so without my kneecaps exploding.

I nerfed the fall height in my mod of the old version - falling a story shouldn't be fatal (but you walk a bit slowly for a few seconds as you regain your strength)
Did the game become really laggy for anyone else since the last update?
i actually noticed a slight improvement in performance.
needless to say someone needs to get rid of all the dynamic lights and optimize this terribly optimized game.
now with the slomo cheat the game is playable but i have a viewpoint the size of my fist
