Your character is probably still active, I didn't log on for ages after Minges Tirith died and managed to get my character to freedom earlier this year around april time. Also, does anyone have any media from the first invasion (Golden Valley)? I remember someone made a timelaspe video and there was some screenshots floating around the thread from earlier this year.

Well there's an assload more animals now so hunting trips will be fun and don't forget some of us can make lockpicks now.

Okay, so all of a sudden, my sound in Wurm is "sped up." The startup music ends in like 3 seconds, and all other sounds are distorted. I've tried restarting my PC, and reinstalling Wurm, but it hasn't helped. Everything else works fine.

Without Wurm Online, Minecraft would have never existed. You can say Wurm Online is tedious, slowpaced and boring, and you'd mostly be right. However, it's the closest you'll ever get to a proper village simulator with this many features. Plus, playing it with a large group of people is hilarious, and watching your town grow and flourish is extremely fulfilling. It's seen loads of improvements. The addition of boats, horses and other shit have had quite an impact on the game. Models and textures have been overhauled, and especially the texturework is pretty damn good. Trees also look much better. Most of the stuff is significant, but you don't notice it until someone shows before/after shots. I'll probably be there, to help out newbies as much as possible and to generally strut around town, being badass. Just send me a message once the invasion starts and I'll show up.
