The only really confusing bit for me was the caves.

Walk around it. If it comes after you, run to the road. You should be able to outrun monsters on roads, unless your carrying lots of stuff (in which case you drop the stuff, and then run).

There's no maps, other than crude handdrawn ones made by the community.

You can craft compasses, though. As long as you have a heading and a crude map, it's easy to determine your location based on the surroundings.

It helps that the huge "Fuck You Mountain" (the peak somewhat shaped like a hand fliping the bird) is located nearly dead center of Freedom Island.

But why is there a guard tower in the middle of the deed? I mean, we'd already have a spirit templar there, why not use the guard tower where we could use it near the outskirts?

It's OK guys, some friendly people on Local told me to lure it into a town so a guard can kill it and that's what I did.

then I went onward and got lost at a place called "Odin's Gate", which is nowhere on the map
