MAJOR Dota 2 TEST client update for 12/11/13 and main client update coming on 12/12/13 (12/12/13 UTC - Games

I can't help but think of Artorias when I read LC's lore. Also, the talk of the abyss makes me think Abyssal Persecutor/Pit Lord is coming soon.

So does LC count as a support? Seems to have some fucking amazing assist abilities.

This seems like a lot of hullabaloo over a model update. It's like Valve is trying to sugarcoat the process as much as possible so we don't throw a tantrum. Well joke's on you Valve I'm gonna throw a tantrum anyway.

btw for people going like OH MY GOD PARTY ABANDON IS BULLSHIT WHAT IF MY FRIEND LIVES UNDERWATER AND HAS A COMPUTER MADE OF CARDBOARD if his pc crashes/internet cuts out he gets booted from the party 5 minutes before getting the abandon if you didn't understand already, this means you guys won't get the abandon this is only for people pressing "leave game"

The Tree horde feels way too powerful

I don't like LC's nose ring. I also think the reverb on her voice lines is a bit much but I'm sure it sounds less so in-game.

One thing I noticed about legion commander is that you can't hear half her lines over the in game sounds because she goes quiet for a dramatic angry effect with a lot of them. It was a similar situation with abaddon's release, but his voice was just too quiet because he whispers in his speech and it was over filtered. Also, Legion commander apparently has a second arcana that has an angelic theme to contrast with her demon arcana, but they haven't revealed it yet. There's lines for it on the wiki. Could be because they're more focussed on killing towers than fighting the players, and prophets trees are just annoying, but they're really not that difficult to fight as opposed to the brood wave. I'll give you a hint though: Sven is a really good hero for this mode, and iMagnus is a great support/carry with Arcane II and assault curass while giving sven and other melee carries his cleave. Also, legion commander's active buff is amazing for the combo too. The most underwhelming hero in this mode seems to be venomancer. The enemies go straight for him over his ards and he's slow and squishy. Other heroes would be abetter use of the slot than him if you ask me (like ember spirit, he'd destroy everything if he was in the mode and was able to farm up a daedalus). His crown seems looks like it's photoshopped onto his head, and it clashes with his green everything. It's like if you colored necrolyte's hat red or yellow. Maybe it'll look better in game.

Why on earth did they change Skeleton King? I hope someone gets to work on a mod to change it back, or that Valve releases a skeleton arcana (Then again, paying for something like that seems pretty ridiculous) I hope this doesn't stick.

Don't see much other reason to take him out of the game this long. I mean, a reskin is one thing but fucking Venomancer didn't get an entire update starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Juggernaut or Omni are implacable for the boss fight. You really want that magic immunity on demand.

Is the update out on the test client? Would be fun to try it out
