I was wondering how we were gonna work in optimistic.
On a serious note, I do like the way it looks. Touching the optimistic cactus hurts you.
I'm surprised no one has done nothing with the "Get out" frog yet.
well, real clay is a dark orange color, at least from what I remember.
Like in this image, the mountain ridges are entirely clay:
Clay is only red when the enough iron is in it, and it's been hardened. Natural clay is usually found gray with smudges of red and black.
I'm starting to get irritated by filesmelt which crashes every other day or whenever I get a difficult or completely redone texture finished.
Use a better host like dropbox or cubeupload.
I tried making the iron look a bit more "natural" by making the stone around it look more flawed:

As they are now a lot of the ores (particularly coal) look like they've just been slapped onto the stone. It shouldn't look so flat when there's ore trapped inside of it

Nice,I like that better than the broken up ores.
I think they would look better if they're like the Zing glowstone, not broken up but have some small ore next to the icon.
Personally didn't like the gigantic rating slapped on the pine log, it looked really bad ingame. Changed it to a darker version of the normal log.

Just did a little experiment with the lapiz block, if it's no good, then someone else can do it instead [del]because I'm too lazy[/del].

Is the image showing up for anyone else? I can't see it.
I can.IMO that's pretty ugly, that little lighter scratch is unnecessary.
I'm looking forward to this when it's complete, this is an interesting project.
I do admit, it does look more like a bird shat on it, rather than an informative rating embedded inside a block of lapis lazuli.
So what blocks need to be done now?

Actually, I don't think Barrows grass and stuff was ever added in, so here:

Could we do the Cobble a little bit darker? Would fit better with the rest.
Just a question: how is it possible to be "good" at pixel art?

Just like how it's possible to be good at real art, but with tiny squares instead.

I'm not sure if we are using those gold/iron ore textures
I'm not sure if we are using those winner/iron textures
Agree if you like Winner/iron textures
Disagree is you do not like them

All art is real art.
Declare some art
Have some art
Here: Have some art.

They're the icons pasted over, with some grain added... and I did the spiderman thingy by eye.
