What does obsidian armor do?/can it be crafted?

So, what is the purpose of the Phoenix Gloves? I know they resist fire, but it says there is something special about it.

If I right-click on the gold boss I crash, and there isn't a silver temple ANYWHERE in my world.

Does the mod add Obsidian armour along with the obsidian gloves?

Whales in water manage to beach themselves, so we grant them anti gravity powers so they become Aerwhales. First thing they do is "hill" themselves.

Looks like an awesome mod. Any one know if the airship mod works in the Aether?

I have tried over ten times to install this mod. I read the OP, I watched the videos and I still can not get this to work. I get the "saving chunks" and it just freezes right there is goes to black. I install them Modloader Audiomod ShockAPI Aether I delete the Meta-Inf folder. What am I doing wrong?

So I just accidentally crafted a nature staff. What do I do with it? (I lost my book so I couldn't look it up)

What's the recipe for the nature staff? I can check what it does if I get one.

It makes my FPS go to close to zero. And I can run a bukkitserver wich massive maps and play minecraft at the same time just fine. No problem on my sucky laptop tho.
