Looking through mod_Trivia.txt (it shows all possible protips that come with Aether) I see this:

The miniboss guy is just stupidly fast and powerful, there's no way to avoid getting hit by him, and the fireballs are just random and impossible to dodge because you have to concentrate on too much at once. Also I got really shitty loot on my first run, which took 4 lives, 3 sets of zanite armor and 3 stacks of ambrosium. Kinda put me off gold dungeons.[/sp]

Best way to deal with the mini guys the gold dungeon boss drops is to spam left mouse button. Also I really don't see why people would want zanite armor, it's pathetically weak when you first get it and doesn't improve unless you get hit which defeats the purpose of the armor.
When I fight I tend to take damage, the armor gets better, I eat food and take less damage. Iron armor on the other hand is awesome for about 4 hits, then it basically stops existing. If you want reliable armor wear half iron and half zanite, your armor pretty much stays at halfway permanently. and yes I do spam the fire guys but god damn you miss one click and they deal 4 hearts of damage.

It's very rare, you can usually find it at the lower levels of the floating islands.

Don't, Don't, DON'T get close to these things, I hate aechor plants more than I hate creepers. Just shoot them with darts or arrows. Only get close when you have no other means of getting rid of them.
They have their uses, though-You can get poison out of them and make poison darts, and you can use the dropped plants to feed your hatched moas.

Whack it with a pickaxe repeatedly. It's best to let him charge at you and walk off to the side, whacking him with the pickaxe.
And don't spam, each time you hit him while he's got hit-invincibility you lose durability.

Phoenix Bow turns arrows into flaming arrows when fired.
Lighting Daggers are thrown with right click and cause a lighting bolt to strike where they land.

Phoenix bow shoots fire arrows.
Lighting Dagger can be thrown and whatever it hits gets lit on fire by lighting and makes a explosion.(Doesn't destroy blocks.)
Phoenix bow ignites the block it lands on (except in aether where it only ignites mobs)
Lightning daggers are right click to throw and they basically cause a lightning impact (splash, ignition of mobs, damage, loud noise.)

I had that happen and had to kill myself and loose all my stuff, so I started bring a compass at all times.

Either a compass or use F3 and mark the location of your house.
Although for some reason whenever I fall out of the aether I fall directly onto my aether portal.
Falling isn't a big deal, just make a parachute out of some clouds or build your Aether portal in the middle of the ocean.

Happens to me too, that's why I built it in water.
People are saying that it drops you randomly in the world, but it only drops me near my portal.
Found my house, all good now, now to continue dungeon-hunting!

I'm thinking that's a bug. What I think should happen is you fall onto the surface relative to how far you've moved in the Aether. I.E. if you go north 500 blocks and fall off, you should fall to the surface 500 blocks north of your aether portal.

Golden Oaks. You need to use a Zanite Axe to chop it down.
