Nope. In order to fight the boss, you have to show him 10 victory medals (that the regular Valkyries drop).

You need to kill ten Valkyries to get the boss to even consider fighting you.

You have to kill the Valkyries first- you need the medals they carry.

Get good armor, a good sword and food, preferably stackable one. The Valkyries won't hurt you much if you're wearing good armor, but the final boss kick your ass in 4-5 hits even with armor.
Remember, you can eat ambrosium shards in case you run out of food.

Is it just me or does the silver dungeon end at floor 3? I have 6 rooms there, everything else is blocked.

From what I've seen the Silver Dungeon has three floors, and the third floor has another staircase leading down two floors to the bosses room.

Diamond or Zanite armor (or both) will do fine.
By the way, I heard that you can actually find obsidian armor at Gold dungeons, and that it has amazing durability and protection.
Yeah, if you get phoenix armor and dip it in water it becomes obsidian.

It was the iron/purple stuff mix. Chestplate and helmet iron, everything else purple stuff. Also, purple stuff rings and necklace.
I wish there was more variety in the Aether. It's all just hills and trees floating around. There should be biomes like in the overworld, where you have like floating icebergs, floating deserts, floating volcanoes(!), etc.
And giant floating masses of water would be neat.

Probably a bug, Regular Valkyries can't 1 hit you.
Or perhaps something more alien, and not just floating versions of the usual minecraft biomes.
Like gigantic, and I mean fucking [b]colossal[/b] trees with intricate branching and leaf designs, enormous willows that reach the map height limit, or storm clouds with dangerous electrical activity hovering over islands and through cave systems.
The Aether is a creative blank slate.

Torches. Regular torches don't work in the aether.
You can also eat them and get health.
You use ambrosium torches for incubators.
That's all the uses I know.
