They still sell PS1's in some stores where I live, I think. I should pick one up some time.
I don't know a person that doesn't have a PS1. Hell, some of them still play PS1 games. Take a wild guess on which one's among the top played.

Nope. It's Spyro 2 of all things. Sure, everyone also has Crash, but Spyro was far more popular back in the day.

So it's coming out this weekend.
I have some cash to spare, so I'll pick up the 360 version, and even if I don't like it, my siblings will.
I seriously have high hopes for this game, because it sorta reminds me of the Spyro games of the PSX era. With the environments and all.
I'll also get the legendary pack from Toys R Us, mostly because the Bash character is awesome looking. And because I have a feeling my siblings will fight over Spyro, so it's good to have two of them.

I'm willing to give it a chance, and if not, whatever. It is a brilliant marketing scheme towards children, definitely. So I'm sure it'll get back what it took to make the game.

Firstly, they made "spyro" have a face that looked like he smashed his face against a wall several time, and now they changed his voice to generic hardass voice.
I still have the old Spyro games, even if they're badly scratched and don't work any more. I just liked the sentimental value of it.
It's not even a generic hardass voice, it's just a voice that doesn't fit the style OR the character. Hell, at least LoS tried to have Spyro sound the same as in the first three games.
Activision has some sort of cancer that leaks onto the games they make.
The type of cancer that steals money and sucks the beauty out of things.
