Crash died after Crash Twinsanity which was really funny and actually fun, and now hes dead since i havent seen a new game for him, which is good. So just let Spyro die already, hes been through much worse. Ive had the ''pleasure'' of playing Enter The Dragonfly and i cried cause of it.
I bought CTR the other day at a pawn shop $2, I was so happy.
I called them "running faggots" since I saw them the first time.
I called them eggmen :v:
Spyro seemed to be the best the PS1 could look. Everyone says that MGS1 looks good for the system, but compare this:with this: [editline]29th September 2011[/editline] In terms of models Spyro was top-notch
Well thius is something to ignor.... WAIT WHAT! [thumb]http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu218/JKN1178/skylanders-spyros-adventure-20110719101454411.jpg[/thumb] DID THE JUST RIP OFF THE LIKENESS OF CTHULHU!?! ACTIVSIIIIOOOOOOOOOON!

Even during his lifetime Lovecraft never really bothered to keep a strong grip on his own intellectual property.
After seeing this thread, i want to buy a PS1 again and the first 3 games again.
After seeing this thread, i want to buy a PS1 again and the first 3 games again.
Alternatively if you own PS3 or PSP, buy them off the Playstation Store like I just did. I was missing #2 and #3. Wasn't this coming to 3DS too?
Fuck activision and fuck skylanders I'm happy with this, thank you
They actually made a pretty cunning plan: They first make a fully priced game with 32 characters, but 29 of them have to be bought separately. Since they're overpriced as fuck that means more money for them. If enough idiots decide to buy it and the game won't flop they will make a Skylanders sequel, following the same gimmicks. This is more or less a kick in the balls for the hardcore fans. If not, they said that they will probably try another reboot or a Spyro 4/5/6/whatever, but chances for a proper one are extremely low. Besides, is it really that hard to make a fucking platformer? Spyro's still got a massive audience and I'm pretty sure it's a lot easier to make a platformer than to make something else.
Spyro 4 with next-gen PC graphics anyone? Now platformers don't play too well on a PC most of the time, but that can be fixed by attaching a controller.
This wins all Spyro music of all time. Forever.
The Cthulhu Mythos is in the public-domain now. I was mistaken, they just made a light blue Dr.Zoidberg.
After seeing this thread, i want to buy a PS1 again and the first 3 games again.
They still sell PS1's in some stores where I live, I think. I should pick one up some time.
I don't know a person that doesn't have a PS1. Hell, some of them still play PS1 games. Take a wild guess on which one's among the top played.
GT1
Nope. It's Spyro 2 of all things. Sure, everyone also has Crash, but Spyro was far more popular back in the day.
Repeating myself here, but; there are some things that should not be tampered with. Spyro is a great example, instead of being a fond memory like it should be, we have filthy conglomerates screwing things up.
they fucking ruined it
Remember when they had a skateboarding minigame with hunter?
THOSE FUCKING LIZARDS FA:LDHFLDHSLHSDF
Alternatively if you own PS3 or PSP, buy them off the Playstation Store like I just did. I was missing #2 and #3. Wasn't this coming to 3DS too?
I would love to but they aren't on the Aussie psn store. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
THOSE FUCKING LIZARDS FA:LDHFLDHSLHSDF
They're easy compared to the Sheila and the Seals sabotaging that fortress.
So it's coming out this weekend. I have some cash to spare, so I'll pick up the 360 version, and even if I don't like it, my siblings will. I seriously have high hopes for this game, because it sorta reminds me of the Spyro games of the PSX era. With the environments and all. I'll also get the legendary pack from Toys R Us, mostly because the Bash character is awesome looking. And because I have a feeling my siblings will fight over Spyro, so it's good to have two of them.
This isn't even a Spyro game, it's just a game that includes "Spyro"
Even so. The visuals and gameplay are more or less a throwback to the time of Moneybags, Egg Thieves, and Gems(two of these are in the game, which is awesome). I'm willing to give it a chance, and if not, whatever. It is a brilliant marketing scheme towards children, definitely. So I'm sure it'll get back what it took to make the game. Not sure if new, but here's a cinematic trailer.
All this talk of the first 3 Spyro games and listening to the old soundtracks is rather depressing. So much nostalgia.
Firstly, they made "spyro" have a face that looked like he smashed his face against a wall several time, and now they changed his voice to generic hardass voice.
I still have the old Spyro games, even if they're badly scratched and don't work any more. I just liked the sentimental value of it.
It's not even a generic hardass voice, it's just a voice that doesn't fit the style OR the character. Hell, at least LoS tried to have Spyro sound the same as in the first three games.
Activision has some sort of cancer that leaks onto the games they make. The type of cancer that steals money and sucks the beauty out of things.
Even so. The visuals and gameplay are more or less a throwback to the time of Moneybags
Moneybags is in the Game through.
Moneybags is in the Game through.
When I was a child and I saw moneybags like this, I immediatly started to loath the game.
