The best BEST part was during post game you could find him, kick his ass to hell and back, and, ahem, "[b]REFUND[/b]" every purchase you've made to him (AKA get every gem back).
The game is out in places, and going by people's words, it actually is a decent game.

From what I've heard they say it plays like classical Spyro with bits and pieces of LoS tied to it.
Either way somebody really has to mod it and change the Spyro model. I just can't look at the new one with a straight face.

I played the Legend of Spyro.
I wanted old Spyro back. At least Heroes' Tail, at least. The idea of this 'portal' stuff is a bad idea, executed good though. Moneybags should have a voice actor of bobby kotick :v:

I forgot he also voiced him, in this game he even does the long, drawn out shouts of DOOM.
This Villain is even short like Zim.
I played this horror.
BAD.
You can toggle "fly" ie float 1m off the ground with the tap of a button, but it still doesn't let you go anywhere outside of where you can go on foot. So depressing I had to stop. The combat's just boring buttonmash and flashy lights and lasers go everywhere. The saddest thing is that parents will still buy this for their kids, and those kids will think all Spyro was like this.

Actually Spyro was never able to fly except in special sequences. The last time they used the gliding mechanics the way they're supposed to be used was in HT.
Still, Spyro could easily glide that.
I remember when you had to walk through two pyramid things in order to fly, and even then it wasn't permanent. It was cool.
Just another aspect they've butchered then- he can now fly along the ground all you want (but not continue level flight over the open air wtf?).
The top-down view means zero immersion-factor too, although it does mean you don't need to look at that goddamn purple gremlin so closely. Just about everything that could have been ruined, has been ruined.
Saw the ad, no fucking mention of Spyro at all.
Fucking hell they even showed the game title 'Spyro Skylanders Adventure' and didn't say a single thing about Spyro.
