Depends on what you mean by "good." Photorealistic graphics would look horrible, because the flaws in nature-emulating textures would contrast with the blocky, constant voxels, but graphics at higher resolutions that are still stylized can and have proven to work nicely. There are plenty of 32x and even some 64x texture packs that have turned out to be quite popular, because they can still be easily made to fit in a sort of pattern, and in fact they usually are.
That's what mods are for, improving gameplay. Boring as shit if no mods are installed. Minecraft can't be everyone's cup of tea right?
Community is there as well, which is why people develop mods. If every best mod was installed officially, Minecraft would be better but it'd ruin the chance of people adding stuff to it. I'm pretty sure they'll still update it. The game itself isn't at all finished.
Minecraft is fun but it's about damn time someone stopped sucking Notch's dick and actually reviewed it for the mediocre game that it is

Wurm has "Realistic" (If you can call it that) graphics and mining, and I think it works.

I can't really see Minecraft with a different style of graphics, the blocky style is the only one I can see that suits it. (Except the playermodels.)

As many other people have said I also agree with this, even if it's not meant to be agreed with. He didn't even mention how unstable the game is, which is surprising.
I do admit that most of the new features haven't been good and notch shouldn't have called this version a release, But I think it was worth the money I spent on it in beta.
They actually made some really good points about this game. Notch needs to step it up a little and actually work on the game that it could be.
I agree with most of his criticism, but I've had so much fun with minecraft because I mainly just build shit with my friends and ignore all the weird adventure stuff.

1. "The game is fun" is not a correct rebuttal. He brings up valid points against Minecraft, saying "The game is fun" as a rebuttal to valid points is stupid.
2. We're not calling you a fanboy, we were calling you immature for judging it entirely by posting your opinion before you watched the entire video.
