In Which Yogscast single-handedly ruined minecon for notch - Games

I just watched the videos of their presentation. I think Notch might actually just be butthurt about them making a few minor criticisms about stuff like the ending and the villages in amongst all of the great things they had to say about Minecraft. Overall their presentation was really positive and they had nothing but great things to say.

So.. You mean to tell me the whole thing was just a big, alcohol/hangover-fueled tantrum? Alright. I can live with that. Worse things have happened.

Thankfully IGN was nice about fixing things. - Despite Yogscast being panelists and generally making Minecon what it was, they didn't get any payment. Instead they get badmouthed by Notch and have rabid fanboys DDOS them and verbally abuse them at the airport. - Notch hasn't apologized and Yogscast continues to get DDOSed by diehard minecraft idiots. The entire situation is shitty and it's basically all Notch's fault. He needs to apologize and clear the air. I'm still going to wait for Mojang's/Notch's reply regarding the IGN thing. It makes no sense that IGN bought the stream and then suddenly decides to shut it down in good faith. Doesn't sound like IGN to me. Just an observation. Else I just have to say that you can't judge a person by his physical looks. I mean Notch sure looks friendly and cozy, but his occasional blogs and tweets reveal a big child. Uh, doesn't have to be bad of course :v:

It's also interesting how in their video they're pretty vague about everything. Even in their full response they purposely dodge a few things. For a "tell all" sort of thing they had promised, it seems rather empty. I'm not saying the Yogscast did this, I just figured there'd be a bit more to explain.

Everything that happened at Minecon was either because of shitty planning by Mojang, or because Notch is a passive aggressive manchild. Yogscast has handled the entire situation very maturely and i seriously doubt they did any of the shit Notch says they did on twitter. The LEAST Notch can do is apologize. He's no doubt going to lose a lot of fans (or at the very least a lot of respect from the community) because of this.
