In Which Yogscast single-handedly ruined minecon for notch

It wasn't even funny.
Yeah, well, you know that's just, like, uh, your opinion, man.
Wow that is a lot of commas.
Edit for terrible really fucking bad reading.
Notch is being his usual outspoken and childish self.
no
no
Basically, Yogscast guys are being insufferable dicks...
Did you even read their response to the situation? It was incredibly classy and non-dickish.

Are you happy.
They are certainly the biggest driving force behind Minecraft at present, you only need to look at the view count.
This is late but lol seriously? Of course a game commentator would say that game commentators are the MOST IMPORTANT PROMOTION EVER
I don't watch Yogcast, none of my friends watch Yogcast, none of the casual gamers who got into Minecraft watch Yogcast, wow are we just defying the odds or what? I don't see "Woo Yogcast!" on the splash screen. Forums are what got Minecraft popular, not the annoying people who I am occasionally forced to endure to see a mod demonstration.
Also please note this isn't anger at what they supposedly did at Minecon or whatever I don't give a shit what happened there, I just don't see why anyone thinks LPs are important.
i just do not find yogscast funny
it is just a bunch of morons exaggerating an accent and acting like idiots
i swear diggy diggy hole is the pinnacle of unfunny
exaggerating an accent?
it's how they speak

that's an opinion, sadly. i like their works however.
really though that is their accent.

Online they could edit, but seeing as they talked that way not only at gamecon but minecon? find it hard to believe they could fake an accent flawlessly that long.
tbh I can't wait for ScrollsCon
tbh I can't wait for ScrollsCon
Will Yogscast be there? :v:
Personally Notch should apologise, nothing extravagant online. But I can understand why he hasn't.
5 bucks it was the cola.
I just watched the videos of their presentation.
I think Notch might actually just be butthurt about them making a few minor criticisms about stuff like the ending and the villages in amongst all of the great things they had to say about Minecraft. Overall their presentation was really positive and they had nothing but great things to say.
That's Notch's problem for releasing a game with features that are nowhere near finished, all because he set a deadline for the whiny titty-baby fans who "ZOMG CANNOT WAIT 4 FUL RELEESE", and foolishly sticking to that deadline despite the game not being complete. Though now I predict the beta-buyers crying because Notch will release promised content as a DLC that they have to pay for. :v:

Name one game that wasn't buggy on release. Also I know alot of games that had features cute from launch and were released later on so they it could get it out the door. The reason Notch is being treated differently then every other developer is because everyone thinks he's some godly coder.

No one but MCforum dwellers think that Notch is a godly coder. Very few games are as buggy and unfinished on release as Minecraft is right now.

Pong. Hard to fuck up the coding for that.
Notch is still saying he didn't lie. Still don't know who to believe, but I'm steering towards Notch. Notch has always said good things about Yogscast in the past, yet they have always shit on Notch.(no more than the rest of us, though, really. They just have it on camera.)
"No, Notch", the radio crackered. "You are the divas."
And then Notch was a douchebag.
We found it hard working with Yogscast, but we regret that this was aired publicly. We will now sort this out with them directly.
-Mojang Team's Twitter
It still sounds like they are making Yogcast to be the bad guys in this.

Yes, as an average internet guy, I'd also like to state that I generally dislike the Yogscast. This means that in this whole debacle, the Yogscast are wrong, and thus Notch, by default, is right.
I understand that now that I have stated my opinion, which is the truth and nothing but the truth, this discussion is basically done with. As there is obviously no way to counter-argue the truth.
In an effort to show everyone my kindness and my willingness to let others take the spotlight for a moment, I will allow you all to proliferate this debate by instead discusssing the greatness of my person, and the fortune that has been bestowed upon you, that you may gaze upon my scribblings and other various insights, at no additional costs whatsoever.
Now I bid you adieu, and perhaps I will return at a later date, to gander upon your literal stumblings with a fine glass of wine and a cigar more expensive than your entire family's belongings. Even mere demigods such as I need a decent chuckle every now and then, I suppose.
Fare thee well, common rabble.
Morale of all this:
Never tweet when drunk.

Don't bring a thesaurus with you when you return.
Well, I hope that solves that. This whole Mojang VS Yogcast war was getting quite annoying.
