How do you use weapons? I can pick them up but I just do normal attacks while holding them.

I think you can only use certain weapons right now such as the broad sword, spear and glaive.
I also think you can only attack when you are close to a bad guy. I wish you could just swing away when every you wanted.

I'm pretty sure Wolfire would allow owners to freely use the editor whether they pre-ordered it or not on release but I don't think they've mentioned anything about prices.

I find it really cool that I can already spend hours dicking around with the editor and such in such an early stage of development.

does the backstep button even really have a purpose? it doesn't take you back far enough to avoid getting smashed by opponents anyway compared to just tapping s at the right time

to me it's kind of pricey. i don't think the price will change though
one thing i loved about natural selection 2 early beta preorders was that you got overgrowth with it for free. that was an amazing deal because both games are turning out to be absolutely stunning

You see people bleeding in almost every game today, so it is no longer shocking and has no impact.
This is not only one of the only games to have bleeding animals, the blood system is way more advanced, so I can see why it can be disturbing for some.
