Any idea how big the maps will be? Because I don't know if the pictures are just very misleading, but it looks like they are several hundreds of square meters wide.
My computer should be able to run the alpha pretty well but when ever I try play it is at 30 fps
My computer should be able to run the alpha pretty well but when ever I try play it is at 30 fps
My vague guess is that it's still very un-optimized.
The throat slash hotkey is disturbing as fuck, the way the rabbit just slowly gets weaker and eventually stops fidgeting around is going to give me nightmares
My computer should be able to run the alpha pretty well but when ever I try play it is at 30 fps
Since when is 30 fps bad? It's not like you'd see the difference between 30fps and 60 pfs.
Since when is 30 fps bad? It's not like you'd see the difference between 30fps and 60 pfs.
You can see an incredible difference between 30 and 60 fps. Or atleast I can.
I play most games with 30 fps and I don't see that much of a difference when I play a 60 fps game. Probably just within your head.

The difference between 30fps and 60fps is the same as the difference between masturbating and having sex, in theory the same action, but OH so different and WAY better.
Sure there's a difference, but it's about as much as a difference as having a cat with a black tail and white feet and having a cat with a white tail and black feet.
The difference between 30fps and 60fps is the same as the difference between masturbating and having sex, in theory the same action, but OH so different and WAY better.
And 120 is a threesome (with 2 girls of course, 2 guys is just gay)?
I can tell the difference between the two. Over 60, however, is a different story.
Although 30fps is "fluid", 50 fps seems to be the limit to the eye's perception. Anything over 50fps is virtually impossible to notice. Some young children might be able to see 55 or in some cases 60, but by the time you're 5 or 10 years old, your eyes have grown accustomed to see life happen in "real time", not short bursts of intense images. Therefore it is nearly impossible to distinguish "real life" from anything over 50fps.
And 120 is a threesome (with 2 girls of course, 2 guys is just gay)?
And 200+ is a Harem.
That feeling when you're just two bucks away from being able to preorder this. :suicide:
Sure there's a difference, but it's about as much as a difference as having a cat with a black tail and white feet and having a cat with a white tail and black feet.
I can see a HUGE difference in motion. If you move and your surroundings move and you don't see a difference between 30fps and 60fps, then something is wrong. As in, motiong and control feel more fluid.
There is a pretty big difference between 60 and 120, between 30 and 60 the difference is huge.
I asked the same question before (and didn't get an answer). Will the full version be the same price as the alpha?
The combat is awesome now. With the weapons clashing and disarming and all of that good stuff.
I asked the same question before (and didn't get an answer). Will the full version be the same price as the alpha?
No way to tell yet. In my opinion it should stay at $30.
Any idea how big the maps will be?
And 200+ is a Harem.
Not that you would see that on most consumer monitors. You can't even see 120 on most monitors due to almost all of them having a refresh rate of 60Hz. Instead you're just going to see more frame tearing than you would ever want.
Sure there's a difference, but it's about as much as a difference as having a cat with a black tail and white feet and having a cat with a white tail and black feet.
Are you saying its also difficult to tell the difference between black and white?
30 is playable, but 60 looks visually smooth.
Tripwire better pick up on this new blood system and put that in RO2. Why stop there, I want to get into full on fist fights and use my Mosin as a club.
Tripwire better pick up on this new blood system and put that in RO2. Why stop there, I want to get into full on fist fights and use my Mosin as a club.
Put knives on the bottoms of my boots and drop kick the enemy.
Put knives on the bottoms of my boots and drop kick the enemy.
And then I couldn't stop thinking about Bayonetta despite Bayonetta not having knives, but guns, on her feet.
Every time I see an Alpha video of this game, I think to myself "I'll pre-order this when I get paid." Maybe this time I'll actually do it.
There is a pretty big difference between 60 and 120, between 30 and 60 the difference is huge.
the reason most people wouldn't see a difference between 60 and 120 would be that most screens have a refresh rate of 60hz, so it cannot show more than 60 frames a second

Thinking of getting this. Is it possible to set up little cities and Parkour your way through them?
