I found the most scary creepypasta ever http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Terraria_leaked_version I was just browsing for some creepypasta and found this. Are moderators sleeping? [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] Have anyone actually ever implemented some REALLY good creepy stuff in mods? I mean like making some five second weapon mod , and implementing some creepy npcs( which follow you , for example) without telling about them. [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] Whats wrong with the slowpunch , It shows me , that I'm double posting , but after refreshing its gone
It's a bug. Did you just notice that?
Spiders. Water. Places where its so dark you can't see. That is all.
http://www2.warnerbros.com/scoobydoo2/games/escape.html Scared the living. SHIT. out of me when I was like 8-9 or something. What scared me? Go the 2nd level (Egyptian one) and see for yourself. I couldn't sleep for months. Keep in mind, as an 8 year old, you don't expect a thing like this. EDIT: If your lazy... http://livestre.am/SaMc
Sorry for a late reply, But i remembered playing this when i was 8. I fucking cried and ran out of the room. That shit is kind of scary even now. I wonder why it was even put into the game.
Wheneversomething doesn't happen for a while.
I just remembered this boss from Bomberman 64: He would cut your raft up over time until it was a single log...it wasn't a very relaxing boss fight.
Sonic's drowning music. Imagine hearing this and then nothing but complete silence as Sonic slowly falls off the screen and then fade to black. Every time I was in water in any Sonic Genesis/Mega Drive game it's such a fucking tense moment to get to the next air bubble. "Must get bubble must get bubble MUST GET BUBBLE MUSTGETBUBBLE MUSTGETBUBBLEOHGODNONOTTHATFUCKINGMUSIC" I'd just turn off the game whenever Sonic started drowning because I was too scared to keep on playing, needless to say it took me a while to finish Labyrinth Zone, I was 4 or 5 years old. I blame this for my scare of video game water, this shit traumatized me to the point where getting in water in any video game automatically stresses me out. Half-Life 1's Itchioshits didn't help either.
The Sims
You know what scared the hell out of me in The Sims? This. Imagine being 7 or 8 years old, playing at in the dead of night with nothing but the glow of the computer screen lighting the room, and your sims are just sleeping away then BAM a burglar appears and that plays. Scared the absolute crap out of me. What was worse that it played for getting fired (as shown in video) and when the raccoon (in Unleashed) appears as well. The latter was a pain in the arse, because it would happen without an alert or anything, so you'd be scanning the lot frantically wondering what the hell that was. In fact, any music in the Sims that was remotely negative was frightening or spooky to a degree. Like when cockroaches appeared; a subtle, yet chilling sound.

I nearly had a heart attack by these 2 moments.
I nearly had a heart attack by these 2 moments.
Because of my habit of always checking my corners, the first one didnt scare me at all. I saw the corpse way before I even hit the corner.
Dear god, singularity is just full of cheap jump scares. Lame.
I really hate Creepy things. My friend told me about that Luna thing, i watched someone watching it (i didn't watch it, just his reaction) and i hated it. When i played Singularity i didn't want to go in that room in the house near the start at the game. Or that Vault in Fallout 3 with Ghosts or whatever they were.
LSD or whatever the fuck it's called is fucking terrifying.
Any game that forces you to swim in murky water is brick shitting.
I was bored a few years ago and played a flash game. Everytime you walked off the screen you get into another area. I was exploring and went in a creepy area, it was darker than the rest, suddenly a witch shows up and screams and takes me with her. The screen goes black, there was no restart button so I was sure I hadn't lost yet. Suddenly, I hear dripping... And moaning... I was in hell, the screen would fade in and go black again. I could only catch a glimpse of creatures moving closer to me... Nope.
Wow some of the guys in this thread should not play amnesia :v:
Fix'd it for their health.
These fuckers [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] I stopped playing because of them.
It's funny because the game tells you to "stand your ground", which not only doesn't work, but also makes them more aggressive.
I thought I just heard the guy wrong when he yelled "Stare them down!" I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that got a nasty surprise when I encountered them. I eventually learned that the only way to ward them off is to just stare away from them, and they'll eventually run off. But then they just come back like 10 seconds later. I got pissed off about that and just killed every one of them that I saw with my shotgun. Fortunately, I had amassed a pretty good stockpile of shells by that point.
It's funny because the game tells you to "stand your ground", which not only doesn't work, but also makes them more aggressive.
I played the game long ago, but I think that looking in the eyes works for the grey or white ones, not the black. I never used this tip though, my shotgun helped me.
It's funny because the game tells you to "stand your ground", which not only doesn't work, but also makes them more aggressive.
Reminds me of amnesia. The first few minutes, you know, the game giving you tips and all that. The tips always were determent by the situation you were in, like if you looked at a candle it said you could light it. Well, then I just went on, searching the objective when I hear something. Quickly, I hide under a table and wait in the dark. I hear the door being opened, and then it blended in: There is no way to defeat your enemies. RUN! Holy fuck, I ran.
Fatal Frame, oh god, Fatal Frame.
