God damn it, that Amnesia music, the memories.. *whimper* Never playing that game again, ever.
I would love to contribute in this thread but I am afraid of nothing, sorry.
There was some game about crystals that was made by some company called Wild Tanget, the game was named Crystal Maze. It was kind of a girly game about collecting crystals in a maze but it came preinstalled on my dad's laptop and I played it a bunch. If you didn't get the crystals in time, Death himself would come into the maze and look for you, and whenever that happened it scared the shit out of me.
How do you guys manage to get Stalker to be so creepy and atmospheric? I'd love to play the same Stalker you guys are. Is the mods that you install? Because vanilla stalker for me is more like "fuck I need ammo ok got that fuck why is this gun so inaccurate fuck why does it take 2 bullets to kill me and 20 to kill him" Or is it the playstyle? Someone please clue me in because it seems like it's got potential to be pretty atmospheric.
The game is easy as long as you don't mess with the Monolith band (I'm talkin' 'bout Shadows of Chernobyl). To make it more atmospheric, play it in Russian and install one big mod like OGSM or whatever. And install graphical mods, too.
Just remembered one. The Zombiebots from Metal Arms: Glitch in the system. (0:46) I never knew how to kill them until spazzing out and accidentally switching to the scatterblaster. Awesome game though.
And suddenly i realize why Bumblebee always looked so familiar to me in the transformers movies [editline]17th July 2011[/editline]
Those damn ghosts from Sonic Adventure 2
King Boom Boo :gonk:

Game is LSD. [editline]17th July 2011[/editline] The guy playing made a compilation of the best moments in his livestream, it was being recorded live so it had bad quality. He has a bunch of other LSD videos with better quality on his channel if you're interested.

Any fucking game where there's an expanse of sand and trembling and then this massive flaccid fuck shows his gaping asshole of a face.
Asshole penis monsters from planet Dune.
Playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky, I'm by the swamp outside that bunker with the scientist, when out of nowhere, bullets. I turn and see a zombie firing at me. no big deal. Then about seven more rise up out of the water. I know they must have been knocked down before i was turned up, and that was the point where they managed to rise again, but it was still creepy as fuck.
I was terrified of Thresher Maws in the first Mass Effect because I heard that there was a bug where they could spawn right below you and instakill you no matter what, which for some reason really freaks me out. It basically turned any part with a Maw into an underwater level with the possibility of Jaws jumping up and eating you.
How did I forget this? Blink and you're dead
I don't know why, but this used to scare the shit out of me.
I also have fear of technical errors. Like on TV channels when they have issues on their side. Creepy music playing and text "A moment..." It's very spooky for some unknown reason. Who thought that a teleporting npc is a good idea.
Reminds me of amnesia. The first few minutes, you know, the game giving you tips and all that. The tips always were determent by the situation you were in, like if you looked at a candle it said you could light it. Well, then I just went on, searching the objective when I hear something. Quickly, I hide under a table and wait in the dark. I hear the door being opened, and then it blended in: There is no way to defeat your enemies. RUN! Holy fuck, I ran.
In oblivion, I was in that place with the goblins, skeletons, and zombies. -In big room 1 side with goblins 1 side with skeletons- -sneak toward goblins- "Huh, the eye is glowing, someone must've seen me" "The goblins didn't see me, I wonder if that means, *gasp* THE SKELETONS ARE BEHIND ME" -turns and proceeds to shit self-
Jet Force Gemni. That one planet, it was called something like Taufret. I can't remember its name, all I can remember is that it was that one planet with all the zombie bugs the big and the HUGE. That scared the unloving poo out of me. D8 I'm going to play that game again from start to finish now. It's one of the only games on my N64 that I've never successfully beaten.
When I was younger and watched my dad play the first Thief game, the zombies always freaked me out.
When I was little I got really scared from the castle walls song from Super Mario 64 I always flipped shit and ran to the nearest painting to escape that song man. Especially when the tone starts to get deeper.:tinfoil: and that fucking piano that had teeth. And the damn ambience didn't help either. :suicide:

Earthbound, Oh god Earthbound. One the first games I played, ever, the music just makes it creepy as fuck. The motherfucking butler from Tomb Raider! Kinda cool looking back at these older games that used to scare me.
**hears a strange, soft, white noise sound in a breathing like rhythm coming from nowhere I investigate, turns out it was my sub-woofer ...my headphones are plugged in.
