I was never really creeped out by most of Dead Space.
But these fuckers scared me when I first saw them, and still creeped me out every other time I was trapped in a room with them.
What really scared me was that I never knew if they were all dead. I'd think I got em all, and then as I'm walking across the room, I see one poke its head around a corner, then charge at me screaming.
Well, those freaky augmentation animations in Deus Ex 3, when you arrive to stop [sp]Zhao and her pet[/sp]

The LSD Dream Emulator. Particularly because of a place known as "the Violence District".
Now, the District is an odd place, to say the least. The streets are empty, the sun never rises, and buildings are sparse, making it more of a lonesome road than an actual city block.
However, wondering around the District, it will become apparent that you aren't as alone as you might like to think. Occasional gunshots are heard, apparently aimed for you. Attempting to flee is not a good idea, as that will only extend your stay here, dying being the only known way out.
So, following the road seems to be the only option, instinctively not wanting to get shot. Stopping to examine where you're going at a lamppost, you realize a corpse is hanging from it.
The corpse begins to descend.
At this moment, the controls are locked. The corpse gets nearer and nearer, as you begin to panic.
I can't exactly remember what happens once it hits the floor, but I do know it teleports you to somewhere else in the District, perhaps to give you a chance at getting shot.
I really, really wish I was just reading out some Creepypasta right now. But this is actually in the game, and there's a random chance you'll be spawned in the District.
I'm never touching LSD. Ever.

Mike Nmonic's video's got a bit more action in it.
Also, for those curious about the "Grey Man" who appears in this video, he seems to stalk the player through your dreams, hounding you across the crazed lands.
I have no idea what happens when he catches you. But it can't be good...
Can it?
If you think the game is bad, try actually taking LSD.
I'm not touching the stuff.
I don't plan on ever doing drugs, but if I could choose to try 2 drugs without any repercussions, they would be LSD and shrooms.

The best part is that to leave the violence district, or any area in the game infact, you just have to touch a wall/a random prop. :v:

Cut me some slack. I've never actually played the game, I was just attracted to the idea of a district full of violence. Interesting idea.

Try visiting Detroit or Glasgow if that's your taste.

I played the game, to be perfectly honest it isn't that scary. It's just really, really, really weird.
I... kinda like it.
The controls suck, though. The game doesn't support the analog sticks and to look up/down you press Triangle/Square if I recall correctly.

When the Grey Man catches you, he disappears with a flash of white light and your flashback for that dream is removed. You unlock a flashback mode later which uh...
I forgot. My point is, the Grey Man is fucking scary but he doesn't do much.

I play a lot of LSD.
[editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
The real scary shit is all in the violence district and the overworld. Man, fuck that shit. Top three scares for me from LSD:
1. That fucking face thing in the hotel. You know, the one with the pursed lips and the buddha spot/mole above his nose. That fucking fuck fuckity fuckeroo fucker fucking fuckface fucknugget always gets me.
2. Two from the violence district. The dead body hanging from the lamppost (which only got me because I tried to look up her skirt) and the constant Grey Man appearences. Fuck that fuck. Shit.
3. The overworld, fucking elephants and shit man I don't even know, it just feels too open.

The two that get me are the one girl in the Violence District who when you walk up to her, [sp]her head falls off[/sp], and in the hotel (?) the things that are a double-sided face with arms and legs.

I thought it was even creepier when you couldn't easily see what he looked like. Left a lot of the creepiness to the imagination.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SHIT OH GOD
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SHIT OH GOD
What you get when you pump too much adam into a man too fast.
I HATE creepy/scary games. They stress me the fuck out. But I still play them. Why??
It's sort of like spicy food, why the hell do I like torture?
I like scary stuff, but I hate cheap scares or dumb or nonsensical ways to create danger.

I always quit violent district just after launching it
The only thing I have seen is a woman, because a random boy asked me to walk around
I play mostly without sounds, so I've never heard the gunshots

Just everything part of that game was scarry. If you ran out of lives. The grim reaper would cut you up!
Anyone here play The Void?
I'm not good at it, so I can't say anything about the entire game. It's not exactly scary by itself, but the environments.... it just feels creepy, even though nothing really happens.

THIS MOTHERFUCKER, he was only in the Spider-Man N64 / PC game, before the movie games. He never was in the comics ever.
His boss fight basically makes you run for your fucking life, he chases you through narrow hallways and vents while the building your in explodes. Shit terrified me, still does even.
Ack, I remember this guy. Scared the crap out of me.

It's not scary but it definitely had a very environmental and, at times, slightly creepy feel to it.
Monster-ock never scared me because I used to think symbiotes were actually secretly friendly jello men.
