That reminds me, has anyone mentioned the (attempted) scare in FEAR 1 that ends with a skeleton popping out? Seriously. You're in a corridor filled with blood and as you approach the end of corridor a Skeleton pops out of the blood right in front of you. And then it ends. Not that this particular scare was actually scary, it just had an actual skeleton popping out.

that game uses such cheap tactics to scare you. after about an hour of playing it gets really old and predicable.

When this first happened to me I honest to god did not even look at my game for a week.
I was so fucking terrified.
Glitches and weird shit like this always scares me and this was just my nightmare realized.

It happens when you reset/shut off the game when you've traveled to another town. It goes away when you save again but I still can't even sdadfghf

Good thing all of the items in my house being stolen was enough deterrent for me to never ever EVER shut off unless I was in my own town. resetti I can deal with. (rather his brother because of how often I shut off)
I want to play Amnesia because it's ~super duper scary~ or some shit but it bugs the fuck out of me when all I can hear is just noise, it's like just a constant droning noise and if I wanted to hear that I'd start a conversation with my sister.

In Arkham Asylum, Killer Croc's lair scared the shit out of me. I didn't know that when he popped up you could throw a batarang at his neck and he'd go away for awhile. So I was crouching and going as slow as you can, I'd gone probably 200 meters when he popped up, it scared the shit out of me so I ran all the way back to the beginning with him chasing me. And him saying "I'll get you" and "I have your scent" didn't help either.
