Who can tell me how playable this is with an arcade stick? I picked up a madcatz one recently for SF4 but I've heard that MK has a different control scheme to most fighting games. Does it at least have an AS controller preset?

Yeah, but when I got my Kombat pass, I could play online games, even though I don't have Xbox Live Gold.
What about Kombat Pass on PS3. Does it enable the console and all of the accounts on the console or only the account that redeems the code.
(EA MMA did the console. Fifa 10 did the account. I don't have a different game with online pass)
Man, I'm finally up against Shao Kahn. I'd kind of gone 'pfffft' at the reviews that said he was so cheap and overpowered but good god are they right. It's so ridiculous; all his attacks fucking rape you and any you land on him do a pitiful amount of damage. I X-Rayed him and it took away like 1/6 of his health. He X-Rays me and 3/4 my helth is gone instantly. Clearly someone doesn't realise that a boss shouldn't just consist of an ordinary dude, but with unblockable attacks and double damage.
If you're playing as Liu Kang, keep spamming the low fireballs, the spears he throws at you won't hit you.
I have to say, this is the best MK in a long, long time. I preordered it through GameStop, and I got the bookends. They are awesome! :buddy:

Yeah, finally killed him. I took your guys advice, and it worked a treat. I came close to beating him 'legitimately' a few times, but in the end I was so frustrated I just spammed the fuck out of him. Still pretty satisfying.

Holy shit I just read that Challenge Tower 269 you have to fight 3 Shao Kahn's with one lifebar and on 275 you fight 3 Goro's with one lifebar and I think on the Shao Kahn fight you're Stryker.

So, in the arcade, when you fight Shang Tsung, is his boss form the only form that can trasform into other Kombatants? I've tried doing it with the controllable Tsung, but I see no commands or anything.

Remember [sp]Shang Tsung was consumed into Sindel, Think about her strength, she's been totally vamped up in the flesh pits, Which is why it took a huge fucking laser beam in which Nightwolf sacrificed himself with to kill her[/sp]
Here's a few tip for bosses on whatever mode you're playing.
Goro/Kintaro, - High punch about 3 times, Jump to the other side, High punch about 3 times, Jump to the other side, Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Shao Kahn - Stay [i]waaaay[/i] the fuck away from him, like as far as you can go, and just keep throwing whatever projectile your character has at him, He'll taunt a few times, Then throw his giant green daggers at you, when he does this, duck and at the right moment throw a projectile.
If you're playing the ladder, You can cheeze him and get a flawless by using Strykers special rolling baton move rapidly.
