To do babality, you must be at the furthest distance possible. I'm not so sure bout that but it works quite many times for me when playing as Cyrax or Sonya.

yes.

I never played MK before and this is my first MK because people told me it's gorier, fun, and better overall gameplay than all MK series before this. I'm not really a fan of fighting games but this game changes my perception. It's damn freakin awesome especially with Kratos. I would give 9.8/10.
And I'm just wondering how did the creator came up with this fatalities idea? That's brilliant.At first, I thought fatality was a critical hit or finishing move that always end up choking,stabbing,kicking etc.etc. Wasn't expecting "THAT" kind of fatalities. I can imagine almost zero fatalities in the game until I actually tried it. But all I can say, this game is definitely not a waste of money. The longest and best fighting game I've ever played since Tekken and Street Fighter.

Is anyone else getting weird skipping and repeating bugs in story mode? I once had Kabal say "feel like" ten times.

How would you collect your game crashed by seeing Cyrax's bablality. Games don't have a bunch of different character animations when they crash.
Just a quick question, has any one discovered any of the 10 alleged Krypts that aren't the 4 with 5000 Koins in them? I'm very interested in getting some older kostumes.

At first Cyrax stood still and nothing changed so it appeared as if the game was frozen for a good 3 seconds, but then he did the babality so it was all fine. Maybe I just assumed it would crash to early.
Man I just love Cage's line when he says "I am the Special Effects."

I read somewhere that there are apparrently 10 Secret Krypts, including the 4 we've already found that give 5000 Koins each. Rumors and Speculation are that the other 6 Krypts include some of the Kostumes that have already been found on the game disk.
Plus to be completely honest, I hate the new Reptile, I want his old masked face back.
I love the tower challenge where you throw your own limbs at people.

Shao Kahn is so hard, and it's not because he's good, it's because the game fucking ignores literally half my hits against him. He flashes yellow and somehow is impervious to damage. It's like he goes "No, I do not accept your damage."

If you are at the last part of the game, you have to use teleport and special attacks only....it's the only way me and my friends beat him.

I'm staying back, teleporting only when he throws his unblockable hammer, then uppercutting. I'll teleport if I know he's going to throw a spear because if I time it right, I can uppercut him, otherwise he somehow has time to turn around and smash me even though I should be much more quick and agile. He won't stay the fuck away from me and being near him is basically an instant death sentence.
I don't believe that you beat him, I've tried 100 times now. It's fucking impossible.

I beat him using teleports and combos, the special does way too little damage to be useful. Also, always jump over his spears, or duck and when he taunts you, teleport behind him and do a combo. Or when he is throwing a spear and your fast enough, teleport and get some free hits off of him before jumping back.
Teleport, flying special move (can't remember the name, Raiden just goes ABIBABAYAAAAAAAAAAAY while flying towards the enemy).
Rince and repeat. If Shao blocks, teleport again, you really have to spam the shit out of teleport, and NEVER use regular attacks, they almost never work

Hard to teleport when your piece of shit XBox D-Pad just makes you duck. I also try to uppercut him and sometimes he just puts his hands out in his face and does nothing.

There we go, he's dead. My wife beat him and she doesn't know how to do special moves at all. Weird.
I'm really depressed I won't be able to get Reptile's Klassic Costume now. He was by far my favorite character in all of the MK games, and I hated it once they started making him look less and less like a ninja. I didn't bother pre-ordering the game, because I heard his costume was already on the disk, and thus (like an idiot) I assumed it would be unlockable at some point. Evidently I was horribly, horribly wrong.
Anyways, totally picking this game up tomorrow. I've been training myself by playing MK3 for the Sega Genesis and not being able to beat the second fucking guy in the arcade ladder. I think I've got this on lock down.
Played the crap out of this with 3 of my friends yesterday, I raped as Stryker and Sub-Zero.
Also, my friends found out if you play the FSU war chant while playing as Nightwolf, your chances of winning the match increases like 75%.

You can still get the Kollectors/Tournament addition which will allow you to get all classic costumes. Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, and Ermac.
I would play this game forever if it had retro costumes, to be honest, the retro costumes look so much better than the "new" costumes.
I used to really hate fighting games mainly because I suck at them but this game is just too awesome, even when I want to throw the controller at my TV sometimes..
