Well the Playstation network is still down so I can't get the shitload of DLC I got from the preorder/special edition.
But yeah, I just beat the story mode, [sp]and I'm pretty pissed of course. Not the whole "Raiden is a dumbass and got everyone killed" but the fact that Sindel, the dumbest fucking character and probably the least necessary, ends up killing half of them. No seriously, I wouldn't care if it had been anyone else, but that fucking cunt comes in and does it. I mean really, what does the MK team see in her? Why do they include her so much, there isn't a huge fucking outcry of Sindel fans, she's a useless whore.[/sp]

I've been on the internet waaaay too long to let screamers affect me. At the most, it's a slight flinch.

Also, I heard Shinnok is going to be in the next DLC after the Lady in Red one.
It's not just the screamer... the scuttling behind you builds unwanted tension, along with it's moans. Twigs snapping... just builds a ton of tension for me.
Imagine if this game had legless Kombat. Wouldn't that be a sight !!
Also, I love Quan-Chi's X-Ray move. Notice that every character's X-Ray move comes in contact with the opponent? Quan Chi's one doesn't. He actually made the opponent does X-Ray on him/herself. Kinda funny too. [sp]There's a challenge tower mission Rainbow Kombat level 109, I actually feel sorry seeing 2 pitiful headless/armless Quan Chi/Kitana fighting. Kinda cute too. The part that surprises me is that Quan Chi is still able to laugh without his head !?!?[/sp]
Lastly, Jade's winpose always made me think she will be a good stripper or poledancer. And....I think she is cuter without arms(like a total douchebag) during the challenge tower winpose.
I've been thinking: Back in the time between [i]Deadly Alliance[/i] and [i]Deception[/i] a Netherrealm wraith was thrown into a huge-ass soulnado by people who thought it would kill him, got spat out in front of the Elder Gods, and was made their champion right there because some asshole was on the fast track to merging the realms.

The way i beat shao khan was just stand far away and spam the hell out of projectiles... I did have the story on beginner though, just wanted to get through it and get on to fighting friends.
One more thing, i have this for Ps3 and I played the 360 version at my friend's house and i can safely say i fucking hate the 360 dpad.
I just did my shit and kicked Khan's ass like a boss.

[B]Edit:[/B] Oh, and I found a really good tip for the people having trouble with the later Test Your Mights. On the PS3 controller at least, put your shirt over the face buttons and roll your thumb back and forth over them. It will look like you're whacking it with your controller, but I got past the last TYM with ease because of this.
Just played my first online match. It was so laggy that I couldn't pull of any moves fast enough. And to make things worse, the person had Mileena on their tag team and just used her teleport attack over and over.
I wish Sub-Zero's alt says "Now you will feel Death's cold embrace" Like Bi-Han.
My technique to beating Shao Kahn, as Liu Kang, I just did the bicycle kick over and over and then my X ray move (using specials raises it faster), then as Raiden I did the flying thunder move over and over and when he was against the wall would take two steps back and do it again until he died, the most he would get is a breaker every time his super bar would fill but he couldn't do much more.

There are only 2 secret characters, and you just have to beat the story mode to get em. Well one you get about halfway through.
I fucking hate fighting Reptile or Noob. Reptile will jump backwards and do his acid ball shit over and over, it was actually the first time the fight timer actually ran out in my entire history of playing Mortal Kombat, and I lost from the minimum damage I got blocking his acid ball. Every time I got close he'd go invisible or teleport away before I could land a shot, then he blocked every projectile. It's fucking ridiculous.
Other than the fights themselves, I actually thought Johnny Cage was much more likable in this game, like not as much of a douche.
