You're the one one who was riled up.

Gotta love that.
All fatalities are awesome, but I have to say my personal favorite is Kung Lao's body slicer.
Awesome temporary avatar, until I find a better one.
what the fuck kratos
I honestly think Kratos fits really well in Mortal Kombat. He talks too much, but other than that he's violent, agile and has some cool moves.

I'm trying to get even decent for the release of MK9 by playing MKII against the CPU.
I honestly think some of these dudes are broken. They have a clear advantaged range on their attacks and they can just grapple me no matter what. Was it like this in the arcades? Is the "single-player" even worth bothering with? I know I'm probably just really bad, but Raiden and Jax are cunts.

I never said Kratos didn't fit, it was just surprising to me that he'd be in there
Oh, I was just projecting. Didn't have anything to do with your post. Sorry if it seemed that way.

no harm done
Did i miss something, what the hell is a kombat pass?
Also one the achievement names is, ''These arent my glasses!". I can so see a picture being made from this with MK characters.

Its probably the same thing that other devs are pulling to squeeze more money out of people who bought the game used.
The pass is so you can play online.

For a fighting game though? Seems like a waste, good thing MvsC3 dosent do that.

MK bots can throw you from across the level. They can counter being uppercutted by phasing through your fist as they crouch to uppercut you instead. If you pin them down too long with projectiles, they will actually crouch-slide over to you and ruin your fireball spamming ass while you recover from the "throwing projectile" animation.
So don't play the old MK's one-player in order to emulate what an opposing human would do. You should play it that way if you want to experience the fighting game version of I Wanna be the Guy.
Like really! They're ridiculous.
I'll just wait for the demo to come out on the 15th and play some CPU/Friends vs matches.

Guess that explains Shao Kahn in MK3. Jesus Christ, he'll just come out of nowhere with a series of combos in an amount of time that is impossible for a human player.
People may disagree, but I'm kind of disappointed that Konquest won't be in this. Sure it wasn't great in Deception, but I had fun with it.

I think it was because the Armageddon version was basically a fairly bare-bones beat 'em up, while the Deception Konquest let me see a lot of MK areas that I wouldn't be able to examine otherwise, did a lot for fleshing out the MK worlds, and the lack of immediate threats was a neat change of pace from everything else in Mortal Kombat ever.
Also "Holy shit, I'm running errands for Shao Kahn!"
I wonder if Shujinko will be DLC or something. I thought most of the Deception characters were pretty shit besides Shujinko and Havok.
The only reason I would want Shujinko is because he looks like Pai Mei from Kill Bill 2, and I fucking love Pai Mei.
Put in Meat as DLC, watch people shit bricks.
Put in Meat as DLC, watch people shit bricks.
Nah; they're clearly going to save the first DLC for Zebron.

Meat is already in the game, although I'm not sure if he's going to be playable.
Check out ~1:09 in this vid to see him.

Boon hinted at meat on his twitter and also stated the demo is a very early build of the game.
This will be the only game I will purchase DLC for, ever.
Anyone else expected one of Scorpion's fatalities to be the classic "remove mask and breathe fire"?
I just played the demo again. I used to love Scorpion, but I'm really liking Sub Zero now. Going to dig out my Genesis or Nintendo 64 and play some classic.
Anyone else expected one of Scorpion's fatalities to be the classic "remove mask and breathe fire"?
Is that what the Gamestop skin gives you? Because it says classic with all his original fatalities.
Anyone else expected one of Scorpion's fatalities to be the classic "remove mask and breathe fire"?
It's in the game. Has to be unlocked.
Same with Sub's spine rip, and Reptile's head eating one.
Has Kabal been confirmed yet?
Has Kabal been confirmed yet?
