I don't see the excitement in this... It looks like just mk1-3 in 3d, with some cool effects, nothing really added... But I guess fans will be fans, like how I seem to always buy the new call of duty, or GTA, even if there's not much added... so... meh... If this game is worth it, (I have mk 1-3, and Deception for ps2.) Can someone explain the new features not in any of these games, besides the 3d 1-3 style, and bone breaker moves?

One word, Downloadable Content.

It also has the 'Challenge Tower', which is a series of 300 increasingly difficult challenges in a ladder, and if you complete them all, you get a prize. The new game also introduces the fun and hilarious 'Test Your Luck' mode, which randomly picks an opponent for you, and then three modifiers on the game out of a choice of 60 in each category, according to the developers. Such modifiers could be something mundane such as 'No Blocking', but could be something fun too, like Armless Kombat. It has a couple of other modes as well, such as Test Your Strike (A button mashing game) and Test Your Sight (Which involves you trying to keep track of which skull has the eyeball under it as they all shuffle around.) Overall I'd say this is by far the best Mortal Kombat yet. Everything feel so smooth and crisp, it's familiar yet new, has a host of things to do if you don't just want to straight out fight, and the difficulty is frustrating, but it makes your victories oh-so-satisfying, in true Mortal Kombat fashion. [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] Totally finished up the Challenge Tower. I spent a fuck load of money on some of the challenges, but the reward is worth it.

[editline]27th April 2011[/editline] Also I now want to see Power Rangers with Johnny cage as one.
He's the pink one. :v: [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] Also
I heard it was just a [sp]shitty alternate outfit for Mileena.[/sp]How is that worth it?
I wouldn't say it's shitty. I think it's pretty cool, personally. That was the only reason I was interested in the Challenge Tower to begin with.

The sight one is funny if you picked the wrong skull/chalice. Test your Might is the button mashing one. MK9 has the fatalities and is the goriest of the series.
I can't imagine this guy voicing Scorpion and Shao Kahn.
I do, but he doesn't do it that often for me. He just keeps the pressure on me.
He did the same to me. Read some tips that were "Guaranteed win, fool proof" but it doesn't work when he constantly approaches and charges you. I mean every fighter in the series, the singleplayer quest, kreate-a-fighter, etc, it was over the top.
Ermac is freaking awesome in this game! Im really enjoying zoning my enemy and when they start getting reckless unleash a 40% combo  Sadly, the people i played with in Koth dident seem to like it...
Scorpions ending was good. Fucking about time.
Ed Boon voices Scorpion. Not too sure about Shao Kahn though.
He voices him in MK vs. DCU and 2011.
He voices him in MK vs. DCU and 2011.
Boon does the "GET OVER HERE!" lines but not his talking voice.
I suck so hard at this game. I cant seem to do finishing moves either when I get the option.
I suck so hard at this game. I cant seem to do finishing moves either when I get the option.
Scorpion's sword fatality is the easiest, so you might want to try that. Forward, Down, Forward, Triangle when touching the enemy, if I recall correctly.
I do, but he doesn't do it that often for me. He just keeps the pressure on me.
Then just tele and uppercut constantly.
Also does anyone know where I can find a wallpaper of the coverart?
Can someone find all the MK9 wallpapers in 1600X900? I can't find any but one.

Yeah, I can think of better people than Kabal being my doctor. Come to think of it, I don't think I would want ANYONE from the Mortal Kombat universe to be my doctor.
Kabal's a pretty cool guy. He looks evil but is not.
Yeah, I can think of better people than Kabal being my doctor.
Yeah, I can think of better people than Kabal being my doctor. Come to think of it, I don't think I would want ANYONE from the Mortal Kombat universe to be my doctor.
Sonya?
Sonya?
Well.....uh...you see.....she's.... Now you broke my logic, I hope you're real proud of yourself.
I'd be p cool with Raiden being my doctor.
