beating shao khan is easy as fuck. jump over him, uppercut or combo if you know a good one. rinse and repeat.
Yeah, Shao Khan isn't hard at all. I just beat the ladder with Smoke, and I only lost to him about three times.
I'm trying to get better by pitting myself against harder and harder bots, but I find the bots can't really compare to real players. See, the bots on harder difficulties are just really really good at landing combos. Real players just spam special moves and uppercuts. It's a whole different game, online.

Very true. I attempted playing a Scorpion on Expert....
Player Scorpions only know how to teleport spam and spear head throw. Expert AI Scorpions know how to teleport and 6-hit combo followed by a barrage of total assaults and moves I have never seen from Scorpion before. It's very scary.

Beating Shao Kahn with one of the cheesiest characters in the game isn't hard though.

Whenever somebody uses them online, they just stand as far as possible from you and throw those retarded ass shadow clones at you. And when you get out of their trap, they go under the map and then come back and uppercut you. It's so fucking annoying.

What do you think I'm doing? Even if I'm blocking, it still causes damage. And when I try to teleport out of the way, I don't have enough fucking time to put in the button combos.
Does the shadow clone count as a projectile attack? If so, use a character that has a deflect ability like Nightwolf.

I usually can block it, but they eventually learn and start throwing in random low kicks or throws. I guess the easy answer is "Play a character that can teleport," but I'd like to believe that either character in any given match up has an equal chance at victory.

Is the screamer random or on certain krypts? I swear to god, I learned one thing about myself from it, when I haven't slept in 19 hours, I AM SCARED TO DEATH OF SCREAMERS.

Normally I will use Sektor against Scorpion. His missile attack deals quite some damage. Plus low chance his missile will miss. And he can "teleport" as well. Kitana is quite deadly too if you know how to use her well.
