Holy shit, that was the worst episode of Legacy yet. It's like the director just abandoned his vision of re-imagining Mortal Kombat and is just basically making a new Mortal Kombat movie, except it's free but we only get a ninth of it a week. The Tarkatans looked stupid. They didn't look like scary monster warriors, they looked like orcs/goblins. Shao Kahn also looked stupid. Why did they drop his trademark skull mask/helmet? Why did they make him a human? He's been portrayed as something other than human throughout all the games, so why is he suddenly a good looking guy? He's a monster conqueror, not some manipulative father who occasionally takes over things with his orc buddies. Also, in the fight, they had a special effects failure. Mileena didn't have sharp teeth during the scene at the end, her teeth were fine.
The series ain't over yet, maybe they'll all get their trademark stuff later....
Also, you missed that Mileena has some kind of scar on her cheeks. That means she doesn't always have her sharp teeth.
Hell, this is all backstories that nobody ever portrayed. So they can get whatever liberties they want for this part. But again, I'm sure that later on, Shao Khan will have his mask for whatever reason and all.

She doesn't have scars on her cheeks, it's supposed to be her wide mouth that they showed when she was a baby. She has a huge mouth and sharp teeth, but they really failed at portraying it in the actual scene she appeared in. The backstories have been told a billion times, I don't think they needed to spend an entire episode discussing one of the most boring events in the series that ended up getting retconned by the third game or so.
