they were at the bottom of the utterly shitty strategy guide's tier, after some tournament play at PowerUp this year CSZ is definitely pretty powerful. nobody's really played quan yet so we don't properly know.

Actually i think those are speculation because theres a leaked Klassic Cyrax and Sektor as i showed that are clearly finished, and a very early fujin, plus, mavado isnt a very popular character.

Havik, Kenshi, Bo' Rai Cho, slightly frost, Shinnok, and Quan chi are really the only good post-mk3 characters.

Shinnok is just an expy of Satan who was hastily thrown together to be a villain for MK4. He's appeared in like one game afterwards, and in a fairly minor role. I wouldn't really constitute him as a 'good' character. He's just kind of a filler boss character. Quan Chi is a villain sue who is fucking horribly written as an unbeatable sorcerer who is always two steps ahead of everyone else forever.

I just beat him by walking away and crouching whenever he threw a spear.
Then just waited him to taunt and did the electric dash thingy

When I get hit by a hammer he starts spamming spears, then before I can get back conciousness he does another hammer. By this time I've lost more than half my health and when I get near him he does one of the melee hammers
I've died about 60 times now :saddowns:

you can jump over the hammer if you time it right, crouch on the spears, keep your distance and spam projectiles

For some reason he only appears to throw hammers at me if I try to block or do anything to him.
Otherwise he just throws spears and laughs at me.

Changing the difficulty changes fuck all, hes still an overpowered prick.
That hammer throw is impossible to escape once it hits you once, he can throw another one before youve recovered from the first one.
I find it odd that they're releasing Rain after the Retro Costumes, unless he's going to come default with one. I loved Retro Rain, he looked so fucking badass.
Don't worry, they can make the default costume new or whatever, as long as they include the retro ones.

Pro tip: Hammer throw can be dodged by crouching and kicking as its about to hit you.
