In my opinion it is worth it, best fighter I've played so far. The story mode is awesome and it's a great game to play against friends. Also there is a challenge tower with 300 challenges :v:

Does anybody else feel a bit confused and anticlimaxed about the conclusion of the temple/church battle with Sindel in the Story Mode?

[sp] I mean, Sindel slaughtered Jade, kicked Jax in the neck with her boot with a little blood coming out, broke Smoke's neck, killed Kitana with her Kung Fu Treachery, uppercutted Cyber Sub-Zero and finally died alongside Nightwolf. Did the NetherRealm Studios seriously keep all these characters alive throughout the game just to kill them all within 1 minute timespan? [/sp]

[sp] Now, the thing that confuses me is that in the next act, Raiden fights the souls of all the dead heroes in the Netherrealm. But the thing is that how the hell did Sindel manage to kill Cyber Sub-Zero with one lazy uppercut, Jax who got his hands violently ripped off earlier with a one basic kick, and though Sindel broke Smoke's neck, on the temple/church battle aftermath you can see him getting up from the floor. So are the souls Raiden fights in the Netherrealm really those of the fallen heroes, or creations of the Quan Chi's Magic? [/sp]

Well, they probably are [sp]their proper souls, which were perfectly fine, unless Sindel came up with a way to permanently dismember parts of their souls too[/sp]

Have they said they're gonna charge for that on-disc stuff? Boon stated a few times he wasn't going to charge for on-disc DLC, not that it wasn't gonna be there.

As seen with Skarlet (sp?), they still have to add some things to the game to complete her, so she's obviously there as a placeholder.
