Well they sort of are, it's just that Shao Kahn has become so powerful they can't really do fuck all to him.
I think they should of just made the episodes those comic things and just focus on that, atleast with that they can make decent looking characters.

OK so I took you guys advice and has started giving him an uppercut whenever he starts to throw his faggot hammer or taunts- so far so good. Now am I just supposed to dogde the spears until he throws the faggot hammer again or is there another trick, also how do I get away fast enough to not get dashed by those nightwolf esque forward dashes he makes cause they always get me in the end?

Watch out for those spears though, even though you block them they take alot of HP. So standing there blocking for ages wont help you.

Yeah you can duck under them, and jump over the hammers :v:
Every time he tries to throw a hammer or spear at you, pull the teleport (d, u) move and then as you are behind him, either uppercut (down+Triangle/Y) or pull the ABIDIBIDAH move (f, f, either X/A or O/B). That way you can counter almost every move.
I do that, I've been doing that for 90minuts and my only progress to show for it is that I have beaten him ONCE 4 times, whereas he has beaten me ~200 times. Anyways I'm gonna stop now until tomorrow evening so my left thumb can heal(Right now it BURNS and is starting to swell and a little spot of skin, little as in finger nail size, has gone white.

The hardest(for me at least) was when you had to fight [sp]3 SHAO KAHNS. That was insane but luckily it was Stryker so I just spammed pistol at them but they are freakin tough and they could still shoulder charge and hammer throw.[/sp] By the time I'm done, my thumb was all red..........

Also, I finally made Shao Kahn my bitch so I'm much more happy now :D
The most expensive challenge to skip (besides the 300th) was only like ~3x00 (or maybe 5x00), which you can get in ladder within 2 matches.
