Mortal Kombat (2011) - 'Get Over Here!' - Games

Just played this for like an hour with my friend, needless to say I got my ass beat most of the time but it was fun when I was winning haha. Before hand we were playing mortal kombat 2, and the jump from that to this was... actually not as big as I thought. The combos and attacks were mapped differently, but it still played kind of the same, just upgraded with x-ray moves and elnhanced combos and shit. Also, sub-zero is easy to abuse with his ice slide move and ice clones, same with scorpion with teleporting and the chains and johnny with his shadow kick.

Yeah, that's why there'll be a training mode. Just to make sure you aren't confused. For his stage fatality Hold R2, right, up, up, let got of R2, square.

Oh, I was unaware I was confused - but I was. That'll be useful to know. I am also looking forward to that training stage.

I also want to add that Combo Breakers are now complete bullshit. I'll be trying to block against my friends attacks, and I'll be trying to build my x-ray bar all the way to tier 3, when all of a sudden he tries to do a a bullshit combo and it wastes 2 of my tiers. Like seriously, it's great and all when it actually changes the tide of battle when you need it most, but fucking A the x-ray moves are more potent game changers than anything fucking else in the game.

Seriously, you can't expect to block forever. These guys might be ninjas and dudes with 4 arms, but they're still limited in how much they can take. It's awful when you can just sit there holding block and not take any damage in fighting games.

Well, there are a few moves that can break blocks, I broke my friend's block multiple times with sub-zeros triangle, triangle, triangle ice-sword combo. Also, my friend and I were both using really pussy strategies with ice clones, holding down block, and teleporting.

I guarantee Johnny Cage will be used on MP 24/7. Way too overpowered.

I don't actually like JC in the demo (then again, I've never liked him) even if he is powerful. Scorpion is by far my favorite out of the 4 characters, mainly because I find him so easy to connect combos with.

Every major boss from the past games, even Blaze, should be in this game somehow, i dont care if it fucks with the story.

Fun demo. For the first time in my life, I did a Fatality in an MK game. I am satisfied with my preorder now.

Its just too easy to deal a shit ton of damage with him without actually having to rack up long combos.

Yeah, he's got moves to cover pretty much the entire arena which makes him a bit [B]too[/B] well-rounded in my opinion.

I love Kabals hook swords. I also hope he still has that screaming fatality from MK3. That scared the shit out of me as a kid :v: Also, how many fatalities does every character have?

I've been waiting for this game since last June. I've been playing the demo almost religously for a week, I'M FUCKING READY BRO. Reptile is going to fuck shit up in this game, shame that all the gameplay videos of him have him getting his ass kicked, but whatever.
