Mortal Kombat, tons of stuff to unlock in the Krypt, 300 Challenge Tower missions, Tons of alternate costumes, Tons of second fatalities, and a ton of DLC to come. Also a kicking rad online to boot.

You should try doing that combo with Shang Tsung. A soulswapped xray is already ~45%
I found a great way to force yourself train a certain character more.
Play Ladder on Hard with a character you rarely play. You pretty much have to learn the efficient ways to counter attacks and do combos to beat the last 3 or 4 matches.

No, you learn how to beat the CPU which is entirely different from real playing and you will get trounced against anybody with an ounce of skill.
Playing Sub-Zero online, never really played a fighting game so I can only really win against most of the spammers and new people. People who know their character and combos usually beat me. The only combo I know so far is Back-X, Y, Freeze, Back-X, Y, Ice Slide. Does 30~% but I don't know any juggling combos with him.
The fights me and my friends have (locally, ofcourse) usually consist of uppercuts, super moves and 2-3 super moves done in a stream to build a minicombo.
And its a blast.
Oh my god why do people have to be so boring with the same silly 3-key "combos"...
Not that I can't beat them usually but it's just so boring

If you care about SP i'd say MK9 otherwise just rent both, try and choose, just like I'm doing :v:
Fuck it I'm returning this. I thought it'd be great to play different people but when the person isn't sat next to you so you can scream at them for making the game shit, you have to sit there and take it while they spam the same X-X-X combo 5 times in a row so they don't lose their rank.
Great game but people just ruin it.

I can't do any combo's as smoke besides what are already there.
I worded that badly, the only stuff I can string together is A, down X, Y then as they fall backwards do his teleport attack. I hear people doing 40% + damage in one go I just can't figure out how :v: As smoke anywho.
I love playing Smoke against my friends who are new. Down-Back Y (I think) to teleport them in the air, grab them, then repeat. Flawless Victory.
Thoughts on MK Collection? It's probably coming to Steam too.
