My pad won't be here until the 23rd. :/
Back to the challenge tower!
I just lost all of my saved data AGAIN.
You should really start backing up your saves.
How the hell do I perform a fatality when I have to press up? I just end up jumping. :frown:

Hold block while pressing the directional buttons and then let go before you press the attack button.
Kano is awesome, his projectile is fast and it's fun abusing the cannonball.
also his xray is awesome and powerful (41%)
Don't forget his hilarious choke.
Don't forget his hilarious choke.
Also his laugh when you airgrab :v:, huehuehue
easy kombo btw, jump fastkick to airgrab 15% nothing special but its quick.

Thanks! :buddy:
Raiden dash catches anyone off-guard like nothing.
I feel like 50% of the damage I deal is by using this attack :v:
Anyone else have trouble activating their kombat kode on PSN?

mike 'kano' ross
mileena classic costume is p shit, hopefully they will run out and I will resell mine.
How to beat Raiden online:
1) Hold Block
2) Wait for him to teleport and use his lighting fly attack
3) Block it and uppercut him
4) Repeat until victory.
Literally happened twice in a row with two different Raidens
You can usually do full combos instead of uppercut.

Implying I'm good enough to learn a full combo :v:
oh wait I got a message:

What character do you play?
What character do you play?
Either Noob, Kano, Sektor, Kabal, or Johnny Cage. (Or really just about anyone.)
Does anyone here have the official Fight Stick :v:?
My main problem with combos is that I'll either knock them too high or too far away and then they just fall to the ground.
Sektor (FP),(BP),(bFP),(fBK),(BK),Teleport Punch,(bBP),(FP)
Noob (bFP),(BP),(FP),(BK),Teleport
Those are the only ones I've gotten to work.

Just go into practice and try out the preset 3 button combos in the basic move list and try to cancel into/use specials right afterwards and see what works, at least that's what I do.

Thanks for the Noob one :buddy:
I won two games in a row with it, both against players with high W/L ratios.
There was one part where we just uppercutted at each other for 10 seconds.
None of them connected.
And yes, it works very well against the TELEPORT KOMBATers.
I think a fight stick would be good for combos, you could have different fingers on each button so you could press them faster.
Now all I want to do is play as Kano and choke people.
i can't wait for somebody to bust out some sweet shang tsung tech, he looks like a ton of fun to play
Should I get a fight pad? Does anyone know any good brands?

this one was pretty good, at least better than the kitana/mileena ones.
Alright, finished arcade with every character now.
Time for some challenge tower!
Anyone want to play?
now
What is the best way to practice overall, training or online?

I got my Mad Catz fight pad and it's awesome. Plugs into the PC no problem too.

The Mad Catz fightpads break super easily. I had mine for a month and the rubber underneath the control pad itself started snapping, resulting in the pad sticking or not registering directions.
Just buy a fightstick. Overall, much better for fighting games and (if you don't go for the Mad Catz tournament editions) not too much more expensive.

What's more I had only used that pad about three times since less than a week after I bought it I found a Hori EX2 fightstick on sale for 25 bucks or so. Really fucking cheap production, as is mostly standard of Mad Catz products.
