I just got a flawless victory with stryker using nothing but grenade and gun shots while he was at the other side of the arena, blocking, not knowing how to teleport.
Got the achievement for it :D

Quan chi sucks as a character, he wasn't like I was expected. He's just generally not a good character.
And raiden he is good ONLY if you know him, other then that he is confusing and sucks.

Newsflash dumbass, EVERY character is confusing and sucky if you don't know him!
By that logic, I could say that every character in MK is confusing and sucky with the exception of JC, Sonya and Liu Kang because those are the only ones I really know how to play!
Quan chi is pretty good :frown:, fast projectile, teleport and he can stun you with that zombie move. Also you can add in his xray to some kombos.
edit : Perhaps I just suck with him but Shang Tsung is confusing as hell.

Way to be an asshole, and actually not every character is confusing and sucks. Actually alot of them are rather simple but raiden on the other hand is more confusing shang tsung and quan chi.

Okay, I probably should've hit the subtlety button a little harder there, my apologies, but my point is that 'he's only good if you know him' is not a valid argument when calling him a shitty character. I can't play C. Viper in SF4 for shit and I've heard several people call her a difficult character to play with. Does that make her a bad character? No, it's just called 'having a high learning curve'.
Raiden is piss-easy to play as.
Quick teleport, great charge attack and easy combos.

Raiden just isn't one of those characters that honestly is one that I can work with, he just rather alot harder to use. I've seen few good players but that's about it. Barely anyone plays him so I don't really see what he can do. Also I was playing MK9 on the cockbox and some guy told me scorpion and sub-zero were hard characters to learn. I was like "Bitch you crazy."

being able to turn into any character was kind of dumb because it gave you no reason to pick any other character. i like the new mechanic and the damage boost is a cool adddition.

Also this other combo that kind of sucks cause they have to be near the corner and you need 2 bars of special for max damage but,

No actually, shang tsung was only awesome because he had his morphs. So I don't care, shang tsung sucks now and alot of people hate him now. The only morphing there is, is into the guy you're fighting. That is fucking stupid shang tsung was known for turning into another character's in a match. And no it didn't give a reason at all. He could turn into them for a short time then you had to do it again. If you want to play as the guy until match is done then pick the character. Seriously and the NPC shang tsung can morph, but not players? that's also fucking stupid. Honestly shang tsung isn't even a good character all. So shall I explain more?

Anyone else think Yahtzee was a bit too hard on this game for its actual gameplay? At least its a better setup than Armageddon was.

I feel I do very well for not being on a stick (360 controller). On Street Fighter, anyway.
it's mostly the d-pad, so if you use the analog sticks or never used anything else i guess it wouldn't feel so bad (plus sf4 has really easy input shortcuts anyway) but you'll definitely feel an immediate improvement if you switch to something better.
Trying out Shang Tsung for a bit, nice to see how Quan Chi's damage boost stacks with Shang Tsung his soul swap bonus. After both bonuses Quan Chi's xray does 58% :v:
